My review - I love Jill Shalvis. I am always excited when she brings out a new book and I devoured this one. It was so fun. It was more than romance. It was about finding yourself, your family and coming to terms with things that happened in your past and possibly forgiving those who hurt you.
In this book we follow Brynn. She is now back home after a bad break up with a horrible guy and lost her job. She goes back to her mums home, who by the way I love. Both of her mums are amazing and so lovely the perfect parents to Brynn. They all bounce off each other and I love the family dynamic. When she is back in town she runs into someone she's thought about ever since they went to camp together. Eli has a spare room and needs it to be filled and Brynn needs to get out of her family home so she can stand on her two feet.
Perfect pairing? Maybe. Also living with them is Kinsey. Kinsey is life long friends with Eli but she is also dealing with some health problems but, Kinsey and Brynn weren't the best of friends at camp and Brynn never forgave her for being mean as children. Now they are all under one roof can they put their past behind them and possibly move on? Or will secrets that have been kept buried finally be unearthed ruin everything?
I love this book. I love how we get to know about Brynn and Kinsey. Brynn just wants to move on from her break up but has a hard time forgiving Kinsey. Kinsey is angry that she's moved in but for different reasons, reasons that she can't come clean about.
Eli is so cute. He has always had a thing for Brynn since they went to camp and he has been best friends with Kinsey since they where kids. I love that him and Kinsey have an amazing friendship and see each other as brother and sister and best friends. I think they had a great friendship and it was nice to read about it. He wants more with Brynn but she's afraid at first.
This was such a fun book from Jill and I really enjoyed the family aspect of this book and Brynns mums are amazing and I want to read about them more.
