Hello everyone! Today I am unboxing my November Fairyloot box. I hardly get book subscription boxes but, I loved the sound of the November theme Ladies That Slay and I knew I had to treat myself to it. This box was filled with goodies. Not pictured below are the exclusive Fire Is Catching Badge by Literary Emporium which is so beautiful! Fight Darkness sticker designed by Reverie & Ink which is inspired by An Ember in the Ashes, one of my favourite books. I was so excited that this box was containing a book sleeve! I have been known in the past to just throw my book in a bag and sometimes they don't come back out normal. This sleeve is designed by AunjuliArt and it's so beautiful! Next is this amazing tea from Bookish Teas. It is inspired by Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle. I can't get over how amazing it smells! Last before the books is this really cute candle from Flick The Wick which is inspired by Hermione from the Harry Potter series. One of my favourite witches and this candle smells amazing and is so cute I don't want to light it! The first of the two books was an ARC of Furyborn by Claire Legrand. I was so excited that this was the early proof we got! I've seen it all over book twitter and it's not out till May 2018! ' When assassins ambush her best friend, Rielle Dardenne risks everything to save him, exposing herself as one of a pair of prophesied queens: a queen of light, and a queen of blood. To prove she is the Sun Queen, Rielle must endure seven elemental magic trials. If she fails, she will be executed...unless the trials kill her first. One thousand years later, the legend of Queen Rielle is a fairy tale to Eliana Ferracora. A bounty hunter for the Undying Empire, Eliana believes herself untouchable--until her mother vanishes. To find her, Eliana joins a rebel captain and discovers that the evil at the empire's heart is more terrible than she ever imagined. As Rielle and Eliana fight in a cosmic war that spans millennia, their stories intersect, and the shocking connections between them ultimately determine the fate of their world--and of each other.' And the main book is the fantastic The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli. I actually received an early proof of this book and I adored it! I was so happy to get a finished copy with an exclusive cover that was only for this book. It also came with a letter from Kristen and a signed bookplate!
'Asha is a dragon-slayer. Reviled by the very people she's sworn to protect, she kills to atone for the wicked deed she committed as a child - one that almost destroyed her city, and left her with a terrible scar. But protecting her father's kingdom is a lonely destiny: no matter how many dragons she kills, her people still think she's wicked. Even worse, to unite the fractured kingdom she must marry Jarek, the cruel commandant. As the wedding day approaches, Asha longs for freedom. Just when it seems her fate is sealed, the king offers her a way out: her freedom in exchange for the head of the most powerful dragon in Firgaard. And the only person standing in her way is a defiant slave boy . . .' So, that is the Fairyloot November box! I adored this box and I can't wait to get another box soon!
