A little something different today. I recently went out and bought some make up and I decided I want to do more make-up/lifestyle post on my blog.
So today I am showing you the make-up I've bought and some that I got for my birthday(because they're beautiful) and some few little bits that I decided to pick up because I have no self control.
I am a big fan of Makeup Revolution and so I had to take advantage of Superdrugs 3for2 offer and I picked up some other little bits as well.
I have a giant eyebrow palette but, I wanted something I could just throw in my makeup bag when I travel and it won't take up a lot of room so, I picked up the Freedom Pro Brow Pomade in the shade ebony and I can't wait to start using it. Only £5 and it's good size to keep in your bag and the colour looks great.
I've never baked before and I've been wanting to try it, so after seeing people rave about the Rimmel London Match Perfection loose powder in the shade transparent I knew I had to pick it up. I've used it a few times and I just love it! So silky and soft and lightweight. For £6.99 it is a very good buy and not too expensive!
I've had my eyes on the Makeup Revolution Eye Shadow Palette Flawless for awhile, so when I nipped into Superdrug I knew I had to get it. I decided to swatch some of the shades and they are gorgeous! My picture doesn't do the justice. So pigmented and beautiful! I'll be doing a look soon on my blog using the palette. I can't wait to start using it and play around with it. For £8 you get 32 shades and you can't go wrong with that!
The shades I swatched where:
I've been wanting a bright palette for ages. Especially with us coming into Summer. I don't normally wear bright colours but, this palette is gorgeous and I can't wait to play around with it and make some colorful looks. The Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Acid Brights is only £4! What a bargain for some beautiful bright colours!
The most exciting thing I bought was the Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss Ice Kiss highlighter.
This thing is massive and comes with a giant mirror and the colour is just stunning! So bright and I've already used it a few times and it's just so lovely. Sits nicely on the skin and for £5 you can't go wrong! You get a giant highlighter in a beautiful case and I just can't wait to get more!!
My mum recently went to New York and when she was there she went to Sephora and picked me up the Give Me Some Nude Lip set! It has 1 lip liner, 1 liquid lipstick, 1 lip cream/gloss and 3 lipsticks. I hardly wear nude/brown lipsticks but these are gorgeous and I'm already in love with them.
In the set you get-
Bite Beauty's Amuse Bouche Lipstick - Honeycomb
Too Faced's Melted Matte - Queen B
Buxom Lip Cream - White Russian
Estee Edit The Barest Contour Lip Liner - 05 In The Buff
Marc Jacobs Lip Creme - 246 Slow Burn
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick - 1993 Comfort Matte
For my birthday my boyfriends sister, who works at Benefit, got me some goodies! I was just amazed by what she got me! I got a cute Benefit tote bag, makeup bag and some samples plus, the most exciting thing, the Cheek Parade Palette!
The samples I got where-
Benefit KA Brow
The Pore Fessional Pore Minimizing Makeup-Shade 1
Dew The Hoola
The Pore Fessional License To Blot
Got to admit-this was the most exciting thing! I was just so surprised when I got it from my boyfriends sister(so happy and grateful!) When she told me about I knew I had to have the Cheek Parade Palette! You get Hoola, the new shade Hoola Lite which is perfect for people with pale skin, like me, Galifornia, Dadelion and Rockateur. The palette smells amazing and all the shades are beautiful and so pigmented. I've been using some as eyeshadow colours and I just love them!
