Today on my publishing series I am talking about Andersen Press! They have published some amazing books and they have some really exciting ones coming out next year that I can't wait to share with you all. I adore Andersen Press. The team that work there are so lovely and this year I went to a blogger event at their publishing house which was so great!
One of my favourite authors from Andersen is Susan Nielsen. One of my favourite books from her came out this year and it's Optimists Die First. I love, love, love that book so much! She has also written many more like, Word Nerd, We Are All Made of Molecules and many more. I'm so excited for her new book out next year, My Messed Up Life as it sounds brilliant!
A few of my other favourites include; Things A Bright Girl Can Do by Sally Nicholls, about young women in a historic setting doing rallies and marches to get the vote. The Serpent King and Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner, two different themed books but both beautifully written and bloody fantastic. Encounters by Jason Wallace is based on a true story of school kids who saw something strange in the trees. Very creepy and very gripping. Most of these books will be out next year in Paperback form and The Serpent King has a new cover which looks amazing and matches Goodbye Days.
Some exciting books they have coming next year are;
Looking After William by Eve Coy
The Weaver by Qian Shi
Read The Book, Memmings by Ame Dyckman and Illustrated by Zachariah OHora
No. 1 Boy Detective Series by Barbara Mitchelhill and Illustrated by Tony Ross
Lucky Break by Rob Stevens
The Girl Who Saw Lions by Berlie Doherty
Little Liar by Julia Gray
They have many more coming out but, these are the ones I am really looking forward too! You can check out their Spring 2018 catalogue here!
