I was sent  bottle of Paperback from the lovely Clare at The Library Of Fragrance for free to do a review.

Rating - 4/5
Product Description - The Library Of Fragrance 'Paperback' Cologne celebrates our love affair with literature, with a backdrop of milky-vanilla sweetness, joined by delicate woody facets and just a touch of must and dust. It smells just like your favourite second hand bookshop.

My review -

I was really happy when I was offered a bottle of this to review as I have heard about this product a lot and was so happy to get my hands on it. At first glance it is just an ordinary bottle. The design isn't really WOW but I don't hate the design, I think it's nice and simple.

The smell is gorgeous. I really liked the mix of vanilla and the woody facets as it made such a beautiful smell that did remind me of paperbacks. The only thing is that the smell doesn't last all day. I used it in the early hours of the morning and by late afternoon I could hardly smell it so I topped up again. That was my only problem with it but all in all it is a very beautiful smell that I love wearing.
But for only £15 you cannot go wrong! I think it is such a great price for a good product and being the book lover I am, I just love this cologne a lot.

I looked through the website and made a kind of wishlist of the other products I want -

Apple Blossom-
Notes of apple blossom are often used in perfumery to create a floral note that’s soft and airy in ‘texture’. Our Apple Blossom Cologne captures the warm, sweet and delicate floral scent of the blossom, with just a hint of fresh apple to represent the promise of what’s to come, resulting in a beautifully transparent floral that can be enjoyed alone, or layered with other floral combinations to give the impression of a sweet, sheer, delicate veil.

Chocolate Chip Cookie -
The perfect combination of sweet light and rich dark chocolate, embraced by a freshly baked – and not too doughy – cookie, with delicious hints of sugar, creamy butter and vanilla.

Our Chocolate Chip Cookie fragrance is warm, comforting and mouth-wateringly good, ‘bottling’ all of the flavour, and none of the calories!

Moonbeam -
One of our more subjective scents, inspired by a Shelley poem and created by letting our imaginations run a little wild. Our Moonbeam fragrance is a fascinating and unique ‘gourmand-floral’, which opens with vanilla and chocolate, then combines with green leaves, jasmine, lily of the valley, amber and precious woods. We wanted to capture the dual nature of the moonbeam, reflecting elements of both the innocence of light and the passion of night.

This one is the one I want most!

Thunderstorm -
Have you ever considered the olfactory side of rain? You know it’s coming – you can smell it in the air (exactly!).

Our Thunderstorm fragrance captures this complex sensory moment perfectly – with a hint of electricity in the air, just as the rain drops start to fall from the sky, hitting the concrete and churning the earth. Like poetry, Thunderstorm is subtle and difficult to define, but real – reflecting the deep and violent nature of a summer storm.
