Soap & Glory, one of my favourite brands, brought out some face masks. I adore all their bath and skincare products so, I was super excited when they announced it and I knew I had to get them. I only got 3 of the face masks as Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on them and I wanted to try them out before I bought all of them but, I can say that I will be buying the others and re-purchasing some of the ones I already bought.
The face masks they have are -
Pore Refining Sheet Mask - £3.50
Bright & Beautiful Radiance Boosting Mask - £3.50
Speed Plump Miracle Moisture Mask - £3.50
Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches - £3.50
De-Clog Mask - £4
I love that they brought out some masks as they do amazing skincare and it's always nice to do a face mask now and again and the prices are pretty good in my opinion. Especially when they have 3 for 2 offers on, just makes you want to buy more.
I bought the De-Clog Mask, Pore Refining Sheet Mask and Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches and I've tried the De-Clog Mask the other night. You get two pots in the product with a little spatula to help put it on your face and I love it. I love how it went on and then I let it settle for 20-25 minutes and then peeled it off and it left my skin feeling amazing. I always get on with Soap&Glory as it's one of the only brands that doesn't irritate my skin and these mask are definitely some of my favourite. I cannot wait to get the others and try them all out. I definitely recommend!
Last week Zoella, Zoe Sugg, released her new range. I am a huge fan of her products. Every time she has brought out a new range I have bought them all. She has amazing products and I always have to buy multiple. After trying out these products I can say this is my favourite range that she has bought out so far and it's made me really excited for her Christmas range.
So in this range she has included a bag and body mist that she includes in each range. The bag is gorgeous and is perfect to put my make-up in or my toiletries when I go away. The fragrance smells divine. It smells so fresh and it just immediately makes me smile with how lovely it smells. The bath milk tin includes 4 sachets of powder that you pour into the bath and it makes it smell amazing and creates bubbles and makes your skin feel so soft. I've already used one and I need to buy more so I can stock up on it. It is wonderful. She included some bath fizzes but, they are different from her other ones as they are a smooth kind of texture in the water and I love it. Shower Shake and Shower Sauce both smell wonderful and are so lovely and gentle on the skin. Then lastly we have the body scrub and body pudding. Both very colourful and the scent again, is amazing. She has chosen a beautiful scent for all of these products and I can still smell them on my skin.
Bath Milk - £7.00
Cream Body Scrub - £8.00
Bath Wafers - £5.00
Body Mist - £8.00
Shower Shake - £6.00
Body Pudding - £8.00
Shower Sauce - £5.00
Beauty Clutch - £14.00
And a great thing about these products are that they are resonable prices. I have spent so much money on bath products, expensive products, that aren't as good as these and I love the price of them so it is easy for me to re-buy when I run out-which will probably be soon.
Have you tried these products yet? What do you think of the new range?
Today I am doing a post on my everyday make-up. I will show you all the products I use and the finished look. This is a look I do tend to wear everyday, when I have a day off from work I won't wear any but, this is the make-up I do. I've been doing it for ages now so, I've gotten the time down, which is always good when you are in a rush.
So, in my make-up bag, yes I have a big one that I throw my make-up in. It also holds all my brushes etc. My make-up bag is from the Zoella Classic Collection range (£18) and I just adore it. The colours are so cute and it has enough space in it for all of my make-up.
First for my make-up, after moisturizing, I apply Speed Plump (£13) from Soap&Glory all over my face. I have been using this as a primer and I love it. It really makes my make-up last.
I then add a tiny bit of Porefessional (£10.50) from Benefit by my nose and on top of it. I have been using it for years and it is definitely one of my favourite products.
After letting this all settle into my face I then go in with my foundation which is Revlon Color Stay for Normal/Dry skin in the shade 110 Ivory. I use my beauty blender to apply this all over my face. I always have trouble finding a foundation that will match my skin and I am so glad I was recommend this foundation. I kind of hate using my high end foundations everyday as they are quite expensive but, this is only £12.99 and has lasted me ages. I just love how it goes on and makes my skin look flawless.
After I use two concealers. First I put my Kat Von D Lock-It in the shade L3 Warm (£20) under my eyes, around my nose and on some blemish I probably will have that day since my skin isn't the best. I was recommend this colour by the people at the shop but, I do think it is a little yellow for me so I add on top my Elf Under Eyes Concealers & Highlighters (£4.50). I use the white on top of my concealer and then blend with my beauty blender. It covers well and the white really makes my under eyes look brighter. Then to finish it all off I use Vichy Setting Powder (£13.50) under my eyes and around my nose. Most places I've concealed.
I then move onto my eyebrows. I never use to do them and only started about 5 months ago after a horrible waxing, another story for another day. I use my Make-up Revolution HD Brows palette (£8). I use the darkest colour to fill in and give my eyebrows shape and then use the cream in it to define them. I then use my Benefit Gimme Brow (£20) in the shade 05 to keep them in place. I then move onto my eyes. I always do a winged eyeliner. I always feel weird if I don't do it since I've been doing it for so long. I use my Laura Geller liquid eyeliner ($22) to get the perfect wing. I love this eyeliner as it doesn't budge and it goes on effortlessly. To finish of my eyes I use L'oreal Baby Roll Mascara (£7.99). My eyelashes are tiny and this makes my eyelashes look longer and thicker and I love it.
Next I finish the rest of my face. Tanya Burr Rosy Flush palette (£8) is perfect for as it has a bronzer, blush and a highlighter in it. I use the bronzer to bronze up my face a little and contour a little. Then I throw the blush on my cheeks. I am one of those people who have loads of highlighters and I have 3 to choose from for my everyday make-up and one of those is a palette that has 6 in it. I like to change it everyday. I either use it from the TB palette or the Tanya Burr Illuminating Powder in the shade Champagne Sorbet (£7.49) or my Barry M Cosmic Lights palette (£7.99), which by the way is so beautiful! It has 2 powders and 4 creams and the pigment is crazy good.
To finish of my look I usually add a lipstick in a pinky colour. I have been using and loving Maybelline Color Sensational in the shade 207 Pink Fling (£6.99). I adore the colour. Then I will set my face with the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Spray (£5) . This has made my make-up last for ages and I love-sadly I am almost out of it though.
For something extra I may sometimes use the Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist, which I sadly can't find on their website anymore but, their Vitamin E range is amazing.
And this is the finished look!
I hope you enjoy this post, let me know what you love using everyday.
I adore Tanya Burr and I just love her cosmetics. Her make-up has been some of my favourite make-up for the past few years and I always get really excited when she brings out new products.
For todays post I am doing my top 3 favourite products from Tanya Burr.
First I will start with one of her newest products from Chasing The Sun and that is the Illuminating Powder in the shade Champagne Sorbet. It is such a beautiful colour. A light golden colour that goes so nicely on the skin. It has a really nice shine to it. It isn't too bright but it is still illuminating and goes on so nicely on the skin.
Next from the Neutral Ambience collection is the My Escape palette. Very pigmented and they blend so nicely. All the colours in the mini palette go so well together. I love wearing this on a night out as it just last and the colours are so gorgeous. New Perspective is the lightest colour then next is Wild Jungle then Tree Top and Master Plan. In this palette each colour are embedded with a pineapple and I am so sad mine have almost disappeared as it just made it look so cute but, just shows how much I've been using it.
Last is the Rosy Flush Cheek Palette. I always used the Peachy Glow Cheek Palette but, recently got the Rosy Flush one and I love it even more. The bronzer in it matches me more better and the blush is the perfect pink that goes on the cheeks and doesn't make me look like my face is really red and the highlighter guys, the highlighter is gorgeous. It is a perfect highlighter that isn't too bright but, has such a nice shine to it that I am constantly using it.
So, they are my top 3 products from Tanya Burr and I can't recommend them enough. They are great prices and especially when Superdrug have 3 for 2 on you are basically getting a steal.
Today on my blog I am talking about a palette I have been using for awhile and just completely fell in love with. I am talking about Cheek Parade from Benefit.
Benefit is one of my favourite make up brands. I have been using their make up and skincare for years and I was so excited when my sister in law got me this for my birthday.
With five products in the palette and a mini brush I really don't think £49.50 is that bad for something I know I am going to use over and over and get a lot of use out of.
Before getting this I had never used Hoola...I know, shocking right? It was something I always wanted to try and I was really excited to see that it was in Cheek Parade. I love Hoola but I do love Hoola-lite more. I have fair skin and it matches me better but, I do use Hoola sometimes on the lid. Galifornia is so beautiful. I didn't even want to touch it at first because it was pink and gold and shimmery. I do use this on the cheeks sometimes but again, I use it on my eyelids. It is a beautiful colour and I can't stop using it...even if I am ruining the imprint. Dandelion is the perfect blush. It is so light and goes on so nicely, I just love it and finally Rockateur. It is a beautiful pink-goldy colour that just screams gorgeous. It is a colour I don't reach for a lot-only on a night out-and again I even use it on my eyelids. I love how I can use these products as I want and I just adore this palette.
If you haven't picked it up yet then, I recommend you do! I can't wait to pick up the individuals of these so I can take them when I travel. I am hoping to get my hands on their new concealers soon and I will have a review on them and their new foundation hopefully soon. I've tried some samples of both and I can tell I am going to use them all the time.
What is your all time favourite palette?
I love baths and showers. More baths than showers tbh. I love getting all my bath products ready on the side and choosing different ones each time. I love when it's Christmas and all the beautiful bath gift sets come out and I just stock up on everything. Here is a list of some of my favourite brands and bath products I've used this year and just fell in love with.
To be honest, I adore all of Soap & Glory products. I have been using them for years but, these are the products I've been constantly using this year and I badly need to stock up on more as most are half empty aha!
Hand Food- technically not bath products but, I love applying it after a bath.
Righteous Butter - if you've never used this before in your life you need too. It is a life changer.
Scrub Of Your Life - This is so wonderful to use in the shower. Always makes me feel super clean afterwards.
Clean On Me - Another great cream to use in the shower. All these products smell amazing and I totally recommend S&G to everyone.
Also, I am super excited to try their new face masks when they're out as they look amazing and I can just tell they are going to be great.
So, if you know me by now you know I love the Zoella range. I am a big fan of her products and I am always so excited when she brings out new stuff.
Candy Cream-I love applying this after a bath or shower. It smells amazing!
My Eden Reed Diffuser - Okay, so not a product I use but, I have this in my bathroom and it makes it smell amazing. I need to get the others.
Shower Glaze & Ginger Cream - Sadly. they don't have these anymore as they where her Christmas line but, as soon as I got one set last year I got more to stock up because they both smell like gingerbread and I'm so sad I running out of all of them.
I am a sucker for bath bombs. My mum got me a giftset from Bomb Cosmetics for my birthday and I instantly fell in love with their products. Their bath bombs are really great prices and they have so many different ones. I love stocking up on them when I can and I definitely recommend getting some if you love bath bombs. Some even come with little plastic animals and there are so many different ones!
I have never used Body Shop products before I got some a few months ago and I can't believe I have never actually used them! I really love their scents and how gentle they are on my skin.
Shea Shower Cream - Is so wonderful to use. It feels amazing and the smell is so wonderful.
Shea Body Scrub - I always follow with this after the cream in the shower as I feel like I always need a good scrub now and again and this does the job nicely. I cannot wait to pick up more from The Body Shop especially, the Tea Tree range.
So, they are my favourite bath and shower products! Let me know in the comments what yours are.
