If you've heard the news Make up Revolution is now just Revolution and have released some new products. Not just 1 or 2 new products. They have released A WHOLE lot of new products so, when they where finally online on Superdrug I order a few pieces to test them out.

So, everything was £10 and under. How can you be mad at that? Revolution is possibly my favourite drugstore brand and I was so excited to grab some of their new products.
(I didn't use all of these on this look but, I will have more reviews up soon on them)
To start the look I tried the brow tinting. I am terrified of tinting my brows just because I keep thinking it will pull out the hairs but, I left it on for about half an hour (you can leave it on for up to two hours) It is really easy to apply and take off and left my eyebrows looking great. I have some parts in my eyebrows where they have been waxed and the hair has just never grown back so, I will be using this again as it give my eyebrow shape and look without me having to apply product. To fill them in more I used the brow pomade as I was going out that night.
I used the primer and I chose the anti redness one as my face tends to get red and it really died it down and felt really nice on the skin.
I finally used the foundation stick and I am in love. I have never used a foundation stick but, WOW! It left my skin looking flawless. I only used a few swipes and them blended it in with my beauty blender and I just adore the finish of it. For my eyes and contour I used my profusion Pro Palette (I have a post on this amazing palette down below) I then used the Unicorn foil on my eyes and LOOK AT THAT GLOW! So easy to apply and I just adore the look it gave to my eyes. I then used the 4K Gold highlighter palette and I am in love. It comes with 4 shades and the pigmentation is unreal. I was ready to cover my body in it.
Finally I used the Matte Lip in the shade Illusion and wow. It was creamy, felt weightless, lasted for ages and the colour is just gorgeous.
I cannot wait to order more of their new products and fill up my empty palette with the singles as the glitter shadows when I swatched are just crazy good.
What products from Revolution are you loving?
It is getting to that point with the weather (if it hasn't snowed) that it is cool enough to wear a cute dress without tights but, also a nice jumper and jeans. I always love buying new clothes and if I could, I would happily spend loads on a new wardrobe because I keep seeing all these cute new clothes that I want in my life.
Here is some of the clothes on Simply Be and Boohoo that have caught my eye recently that I cannot wait to get my hands on.
Simply Be Printed Cape Skater Dress - £39 - I adore this dress. I don't even own a piece of clothing that is yellow but, this dressing is calling to me and, I also want the boots in the picture because they are super cute and I adore them with the dress.
Simply Be Mirror Trim Smock Dress - £45 - This is adorable. I have been looking at this for awhile and I really want to get it for my holiday (which, isn't till September but, still) and it will be so nice to wear when it is lovely and sunny outside and I really like wearing dresses that will show of my leg tattoos.
Boohoo Zendaya Edit Dazed Slogan Pastel Tee - £10 - Mainly because it's the Zendaya edit.
Boohoo Plus Maddie Blast Rip Skirt - £22 - I've had my eyes on this skirt for awhile and I just keep waiting for my size to come into stock.
Boohoo Plus Amber Check Duster Jacket - £20 - I don't own a long coat and I love the look of this one to throw on with an outfit for date night, going out or, something just to add to my look. I am really tall and I just love that it is nice and long and I really need it.
Boohoo Lena Cross Neck Ribbed Top - £14 - A really nice, cute simple top that would look nice tucked into a skirt or high waisted skinny jeans.
Boohoo Plus Milly Tartan Print Pleat Front Trousers - £18 - This would look nice with a plain top tucked in or a cute crop top for a night out. I don't own trousers but, I've had my eyes on these for awhile!
Boohoo Plus Amy Lettuce Hem Wide Sleeve Crop Top - £10 - I love wearing crop tops with shorts and skinny jeans. I love the look if this crop top because it's a cute colour and I could just add it too any look.
Today I am talking about one of my new favourite brands again Profusion Cosmetics. Today I am talking about the Pro Face Professional Beauty Book (£14.95) This product comes with 20 eyeshadows, 2 dual brow powders, brow wax, 2 bronzers, 3 blushers, 2 highlighters and 2 brushes.
For £14.95....like, you are getting A LOT for that amount and let me tell you, it is worth it!
As you can tell, mine is well loved. I am just in love with this. It is the perfect size to take away with me. Comes with everything I need. The brushes are really nice. I know some people don't really like the brushes that come with a make up palette or set but, these brushes are wonderful! I would love to get a whole set of them as they are fluffy, soft and feel nice on the skin.
You get so many different eyeshadows. You can go from doing a neutral look to a nice smokey eye look for a night out. The shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend. You only have to swirl your brush a little to pick up a lot and they just go on flawlessly.
I love the different tones of bronzers and blushes in this book. There are different tones for different looks and it just all works together. I really love that they put eyebrow products in it. Some times I've left my eyebrow product at home when I go travelling and now, I don't have to worry about over filling my make up bag as this has everything I need.
Plus, the highlighters are blinding and I mean blinding. The glow it gives me is unreal.
So, if you're looking for an affordable beauty products which has everything you need then look no further. I can't recommend Profusion enough!
~I received a free product in exchange for a review-all opinions are my own~
Trying to find the perfect foundation can usually be a pain. It's hard sometimes to find a foundation that gives you great coverage, a great match and doesn't oxidise.
These are my favourite 3 foundations that work great for my skin type (dry/normal) and give me that coverage I live for as I have acne prone skin. When I was a teen it was really bad but, now not so much but, I do have the occasional breakout and some acne scarring.
1. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea - £30 - I adore this foundation. It is a water based foundation has a good coverage and I really like how it sits on my skin. It gives my skin a really nice glow and it is perfect for the summer time when I have a little bit of a tan. Easy to layer up and a little bit makes me look quite natural and I love it.
2. Kat Von D Lock-It - £27 - As you can tell, I've used quite a bit of this foundation. Really sits nicely on my skin. Layers really good and just gives me really good coverage. I love this foundation and I like applying it with a brush as it feels easier to apply and to buff in.
3. L'Oreal Infallible Foundation - £10.99 - This is my every day foundation. I have gone through so many bottles and can honestly say it is my all time favourite foundation. One pump gives me really good coverage and it is really easy to layer it up. It covers my pores, lines and spots so easily and I just adore it so much. It is the perfect shade for me and I need to get another one soon as this one is running out.
What are some of your favourite foundations?
I don't wear lashes a lot. I love wearing them when I can but, because of my glasses it's some times hard to wear them and I only really wear them when I have my contacts in. I love lashes that just add to the eye look. I hardly have any lashes. They are tiny and even with mascara they're not the best. Recently, I got a pair of Kiss Lashes.
They have so many different types of lashes from the natural look to thick and long lashes that we all love. I really love their selection as there is something for everyone.
I got the Ritzy lashes and I just adore them. They get longer and fan out towards the out corner of the eye and I just love that kind of lash look. It really adds a little something to when I do an eye look. They felt weightless and really good. I hate some times when you can feel the lashes. I love wearing ones that look good but, I also can't feel as much.
If you're in the market for a new pair of lashes or a few I can't recommend these enough! They are available at Boots and round £5.99.
Easy to apply and just look amazing on!

I love styling my hair. Usually my hair is just a wavy mess and I really love to mess around with it and do something fun with it. One of my favourite things to do is curl it. I feel it suits me and I just enjoy the look it gives me.
Recently I have been using the Style Fix Curler from Toni&Guy. It is a travel size product so, really great if you're going on holiday and want to style your hair one of the nights. It is so easy to use.
I just wrapped my hair in it, waited a few seconds then let go and it makes some wonderful curls. I really like to use it to jazz up my ponytails. I just grab sections of my hair and twist it around to give it the loose curl look.
They have three different types of these and I can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for a great styling tool that is easy to use, gives your hair a great look and small enough to take away with you then I recommend this! I really enjoyed using it and it is something I've been using a lot lately and I just love it. I cannot wait to take it away with me this year and just style my hair more with it.
Today, I want to talk about Nyx Cosmetics. I've only ever used their powder contour palette which, I just adore! I have hit pan on it so you know I love it but, I've never tried anything else from them.
I know, shocker right?
So, for my birthday my sister got me the Brights Palette (£16). I've had my eyes on this for so long. I just love how colourful it is and I just think it would be amazing for spring/summer. I also finally picked up the White Liquid Eyeliner (£6). I only ever use black and I just think a white eyeliner can make any eye look pop.
I decided to have a little play with both and I am in love. This palette is PIG-MENT-ED. You only need to dip your brush in to get that colour pay off. I just adore how amazing it is. It is the perfect size to put into my bag when I travel and I just still can't get over the pigmentation, how easy it is to blend and the colour selection is wonderful. The white eyeliner is pigmented, easy to use and just goes on so easily. I am in love with Nyx products and I am excited to get more of them to try out.
I decided to play around with the palette to create this look that I am in love with. I used the pink, purples and bits of the light blue and the white eyeliner on my crease to make the look pop! I also decided to add a bit of Glamrock from the Urban Decay Heavy Metals palette in the centre and then added some of the blue shimmer from the Nyx palette on top and I am so happy with how it came out.
Again, so easy to blend and really pigmented. I really enjoyed creating this look and I am excited to try some more with it.
What are some of your favourite Nyx products?
It's been awhile since I did a beauty wishlist and there has been a lot new products out lately that I am dying to get my hands on. These are products I've seen really good reviews off and some I just want because they look super cute.
These are the top 8 products I am hoping to pick up asap and create some fun make up looks with.
Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation stick F1/F2 - £5 - I have never used a foundation stick before. But, the reviews are in on this and everyone has just been raving about it. I'm hoping to pick up a few shades and do a testing post on them. I adore their makeup and I just know this is going to be a new favourite.
EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation - £12.50 - Another foundation I have heard nothing but good things about. I've heard it's not full coverage but, great for everyday use. My skin is a lot clearer now then it use to be so, I think this would be great to wear everyday when I can be bothered to actually put make up on.
Beauty Blender x Too Faced Beauty Sleep Set - £27.50 - I have never used the original beauty blender or the Too Faced primer but, I have heard really good things about both. This set looks perfect as it has the products I've been wanting to use for awhile and I just can't wait to get my hands on it.
Benefit BADgal BANG Mascara - £21.50 - The mascara on everyone's lips(well eyes) at the moment. I adore Benefit and I just can't wait to see if it is good as everyone says.
Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Collection - I adore Kristen Leanne and this collection just looks amazing. I love how quirky the palette is and just every item. I need to get it all, hopefully, and do a full testing post on it and I just can't wait to put it on my face.
Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer - £20 - I've never tried the foundation but, everyone is raving about this at the moment and you can never have too many concealers in your life.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye shadow Palette - £43 - I own a few ABH products but, never actually gotten one of their eyeshadow palettes. I adore the colours in this one and I just know I would use it all the time. Also, can we talk about the new liquid lipsticks they brought out? I just can't cope with all the new releases from them.
Iconic London Ultimate Brush Set - I just really need some new brushes in my life. I've heard really good things about Iconic London brushes and I'm hoping to invest in them soon.
Today I am talking about a new favourite of mine. Profusion Cosmetics just recently landed in the UK and I was so excited to get a few of their palettes to try out. One of the palettes I am talking about today is the Eye & Cheek Artistry Palette (£12.50).
First, lets talk about the price. £12.50 for this fantastic palette is just amazing. I know it's hard sometimes paying for something that is really pricey and it never turns out the way you want it too. But, I would pay more for this palette. It is great to take on travels with you as you wouldn't need to put different palettes in your bag full of eyeshadows, bronzers, highlighters etc
This palette consist of 12 eyeshadows, 4 blushes and 2 highlighters and, it also comes with a duel ended brush. The brush is so soft and really easy to use and it blends out the shades really nicely. One side is great for blending whilst the other side is great for packing on colour and the right size to get the inner part of your eye if you're looking to do a spotlight look.
I have been playing with this palette all week and I can honestly say it is now one of my favourites. The highlighters are gorgeous and just make my skin glow. They apply nicely and hardly any fall out. I really like the different blushes as I don't have that many anyway but, there is a shade for different looks from a bright spring look to a grungy autumn look.
I adore the eyeshadows. You can use them any way but, they all go perfectly together. They shade range is nice and the pigment is so good! You only need to dip in your brush a little and it will pick up a lot. They are easy to blend and I just can't wait to create some more eye looks with them.
The palette is filled with mattes, satin and shimmers. It is such a nice mix and again, perfect if you are on the go. As the colours go nicely with each other, blend well, and just really nice and pigmented. I can see Profusion taking the UK by storm. The palettes are so affordable and I would just pay more than double for these. Some pricey palettes don't even have this pigmentation. Keep an eye out on their social media for when this palette is out and don't forget to check out their website for all their other products. They have such an array of make up products that, I am ready to buy them all.
*I was sent these products in an exchange for a review-all opinions are my own
Today I am talking about what is in my make up bag. This is my everyday make up bag, the make up that I like to put on before work. I love reading post like these and seeing all the different products people use!
What is in your make up bag?
These are everyday staples for me. The products I know that will make my skin look good and I haven't had any problems with these products.
- Soap & Glory Speed Plump - £13 - I always use this before I apply my make up. I just adore it. It makes my make up stay on for ages and it also makes my skin feel amazing.
- L'Oreal Infallible Foundation shade 15 - £10.99 - I have used a lot of foundations but, this is my all time favourite. It makes my skin look flawless. It applies nicely to the skin, it doesn't look cakey and it gives me the coverage I need.
- Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer C1 - £4 - Ever since this came out I have been loving it. It is the perfect shade for me and it covers up my dark circles and blemishes really well! I really need to stock up on this.
- Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Kit - £3.50 - I use the contour shade in this to cream contour before I set it with powder. It blends so nicely and the perfect shade for my skin.
- Vichy Dermablend Make-up Translucent Setting Powder - £18 - I always have a love hate relationship with powders. I've had some that don't mix well with my concealer and makes it look orange but, this is the best powder I have ever used. It sits nicely on the skin and there is no flashback on photos. If you're going to invest in a good setting powder I can't recommend this one enough.
- Makeup Revolution Bronze, Shimmer, Highlighter - £4 - I like to mix the dark and middle shade together and go over the cream contour with it. It bronzes up my face nicely. It doesn't look cakey or orange and I just adore it.
- Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss Highlighter - £5 - I have a few of these and I tend to put a different one in my bag each week. The colours are gorgeous and the glow is unreal.
- Benefit Brow Zing - £26.50 - I tend to use a lot of different of Benefit brow products but, lately I have been using this. I just adore the colours and I really like the way it makes my eyebrows look.
- Rimmel Brow This Way clear gel - £4.49 - So great to use to keep my eyebrows in place!
- Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner Pen - £6.50 - Usually, when I am just doing an everyday makeup look I just do a wing eyeliner. I just love the way it looks and this eyeliner is my favourite. It is very pigmented and goes on nicely.
- Soap & Glory Thick and Fast HD Mascara - £10.50 - My favourite mascara. Makes my eyelashes look longer and thicker. So easy to apply.
So, a mix of high ends and drugstores. These are my favourite products of all time so, what do you have in your make up bag?
