Quinn Sullivan falls for the recipient of her boyfriend's donated heart. Printz Award winner John Corey Whaley calls it "not just a love story, but one with a ferocious pulse." After Quinn's boyfriend, Trent, dies in an accident their junior year, she reaches out to the recipients of his donated organs in hopes of picking up the fragments of her now-unrecognizable life. But whoever received Trent's heart has chosen to remain silent. The essence of a person, Quinn has always believed, is in the heart. If she finds Trent's, then in a way, she will still have a piece of him. Risking everything to get closure once and for all, Quinn goes outside the system to track down nineteen-year-old Colton Thomas, whose life has been forever changed by this priceless gift. But what starts as an accidental run-in quickly develops into something more, sparking an undeniable attraction. She doesn't want to give in to it-especially since he has no idea how they're connected-but the time Quinn spends with Colton makes her feel alive again. No matter how hard she's falling for Colton, though, each beat of his heart reminds her of all she's lost ...and all that remains at stake.

I give it - 4/5

My review - What a beautiful, heartwarming story.

Quinn lost her boyfriend and it has been 400 days since it happened. She still can't get over it but she is trying. Her boyfriend, Trent, got his heart donated when he died and Quinn has been wanting to find out who has his heart now and then she meets Colton. She only wanted to look at him, but she never expected to talk to him, to get to know him, to fall for him but, what will happen when he finds out that she knew who he was all along and he has her ex-boyfriends heart?

I really loved this book. It was really easy to read and I was gripped from the beginning. I didn't put it down until I had finished it and I just wanted to give all the characters a big hug and make sure they where always okay.

Quinn was a wonderful character. She is dealing with the death of a loved one and some other problems but meeting Colton helps her heal, helps her enjoy herself again and show that it is okay to enjoy your life after a loved one has died.

This book was so beautiful and I really thing everyone would enjoy it. It is filled with drama, romance, laughs, heartache and so much more. It is a wonderful book and I cannot wait to read more from Jessi. She is a brilliant writer and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

I give it - 5/5

My review - What a wonderful ending to this trilogy! I was worried at first if this last book wasn't going to be as good as the first book, as with some series, but I was so wrong. Estelle has written such a brilliant ending to this trilogy, it is great seeing not only the difference in Tyler and Eden-how much they have grown since the first book- but also Estelle, her writing has got even better, if that is possible.

This trilogy is about a girl named Eden. She is invited to spend the summer with her father and his new family. He married a woman with three sons. Two which are a little younger than Eden and there is Tyler. Tyler who is a little bit older and a bit of a hot head. They clash as soon as they meet. Tyler has some anger issues and even though Eden shouldn't like him, she does. She is drawn to him and he to her. Can they come over the obstacles and stay together? Or will friends and family members not let it happen?

I won't spoil too much what happens in the last book. But, Eden has a lot to decide and seeing Tyler again isn't helping her. She misses him but she knows he has to change. The last book is spaced over a year, which I loved, it really gave these characters more room to grow and talk more.

I love Tyler and Eden and I am going to miss them. I loved reading about their journeys and what they have to deal with.

Estelle has written a fantastic ending to a fantastic trilogy. I have to say it is probably one of my most favourite trilogies out there and I cannot wait to see what Estelle writes next!

My review

Review - What a wonderful and interesting story! First things first-the cover is absolutely beautiful! Really gives you a feel of the story. When I first got the book it had three words on the cover 'Intrigue, passion, chocolate' and that had me really intrigued to see what this book was about and what these three words had to do with it.

Who knew chocolate could be dangerous?

In this book we follow Maria who is on a voyage to London with the Brazilian War happening. She can't find a good ship to take her to London and then meets Captain James. Maria has very high standards and her feelings towards the Captain are just unacceptable to her. James decides to make something of his life but once they arrive in London can he change? Or will he fall to the bad side?

I love that this story is based on a real explorer which made this book all that more interesting. Maria is a wonderful character and I really enjoyed reading about her journey and it has made me look into her history as well, to find out more about her!

This book is filled with passion, lies, smuggling, chocolate and a lot more! I really think everyone would enjoy this book. It is slow at times but once it picks up you won't be able to put it down. I enjoyed every second of this book.

The Otherlife!

I always get away with it when I try stuff like this. Partly it comes down to sort of assuming that I'm going to. I've got loads of confidence. And Loki got away with everything. Well, almost everything. When troubled, quiet Ben begins at the ruthlessly competitive Cottesmore House, school to the richest, most privileged boys, he is befriended by Hobie: the wealthy class bully, product of monstrous indulgence and intense parental ambition. Hobie is drawn to Ben because he can see the Otherlife: a violent, mythic place where gods and monsters roam. Ben has unnerving visions of Thor and Odin, and of the giant beasts that will destroy them, as well as Loki, god of mischief. Hobie is desperate to be a part of it. Years later, Ben discovers his beloved tutor Jason is dead. And he can't help wondering if Hobie - wild, restless, dangerous Hobie, had something to do with it...Beguiling, shocking and richly imaginative, the Otherlife is about the darkest impulses within us all.
