In downtown Chicago, a young woman named Esther Vaughan disappears from her apartment without a trace. A haunting letter addressed to My Dearest is found among her possessions, leaving her friend and roommate Quinn Collins to wonder where Esther is and whether or not she's the person Quinn thought she knew.
Meanwhile, in a small Michigan harbour town an hour outside Chicago, a mysterious woman appears in the quiet coffee shop where 18 year old Alex Gallo works as a dishwasher. He is immediately drawn to her charm and beauty, but what starts as an innocent crush quickly spirals into something far more dark and sinister.
As Quinn searches for answers about Esther, and Alex is drawn further under the stranger's spell, Mary Kubica takes readers on a taut and twisted rollercoaster ride that builds to a stunning conclusion.

My review

I was sent a free e-copy of this book from the publishers, all opinions are my own

I give it - 5/5

My review - Anyone who knows me, knows that I love Mary Kubica's books. Ever since I read her first book THE GOOD GIRL, I get really excited when she brings out a new book and I was really happy when I was asked to be apart of the blog tour for her new book DON'T YOU CRY and it was everything I wanted and more.

I was not disappointed.

I was gripped from the very beginning, thrown into this story and didn't stop reading until I found out what was happening in this story and it was such a brilliant story!

In DON'T YOU CRY we have a duel narrative. Quinn and Alex. It flits between Quinn in Chicago and Alex in a small town in Michigan. And there is a missing girl - Esther. A mystery girl begins to appear and becomes some sort of obsession for Alex but there are questions in the air, is this Esther? And are they in danger?

This was such a fantastic story. As soon as I started reading and got more into the story I wanted to know who this mysterious girl was and what was happening and they where connected, and I got my answers and the ending was just perfect! It was so thrilling, twisted and it all got wrapped up in a brilliant ending and I cannot wait to see what Mary writes next!
