Welcome to real life 2.0. Are you ready to play?
There are no screens. There are no controls. You don't just see and hear it - you taste, smell, and touch it too. In this new reality there are no rules to follow, no laws to break. You can live your best life.
It's a game so addictive you'll never want it to end. Until you realize that you're the one being played.
Step into Otherworld. Leave your body behind.
The frightening future that Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller have imagined is not far away. Otherworld asks the question we'll all soon be asking: if technology can deliver everything we want, how much are we willing to pay?

My review - What a fantastic Sci-Fi thriller!

I have been hearing about this book all year long and I was so excited to get a copy to read and review. I really enjoyed every second of it. I really like the plot, the characters, just the overall book and it shows how well Jason and Kirsten worked together. They have written such a fantastic book and I can't wait to see what they write next.

Otherworld is a MMO game. Simon has been on the waiting list for months, he steals his parents card to buy the stuff he will need to play the game and luckily, he is selected to take part in the beta. Otherworld is game everyone is dying to play. You can be anything you want and get anything you want. It is the game of all games. Simon wants to find his online friend Kat. She's stopped talking to him and has been taken to the White City after she has been in an accident.

But, something is strange about White City and Simon is determined to find out what and to find Kat before things get even weirder.

This was such a fun book that was full of action in reality and in the game. I loved reading about Simon. He came from a rich background but, he was more of a rebel than anything. He was fun to follow.

This book is dark and gritty. It is about living between reality and in game. Doing what you can and trying to find out what is happening. This is the perfect Sci-Fi book that will keep you gripped from the beginning. I love the in game and how the story was told. It was really imaginative and I couldn't put it down until the end. I cannot wait for Other Earth. Kirsten and Jason have written something fantastic that I think everyone is going to love and just be transported into the Otherworld....
