My review - What a wonderful read.
I love this time of year, the Christmassy feel and the Christmas romance books that come out and I was so excited for this one and it did not disappoint.
A story about the what if. There has been times in all of our lives where we think how the outcome could have been if we followed different paths and that is what this book is about. Charlie is attracted to Tom. He is a drummer in her brothers band but, her brother wants to keep them apart and before they know it, moments have passed by before another meeting. Charlie always wonders what if, what if she ever took the chance and went after Tom. Years have passed by and every meeting is always interrupted by partners, life but there is always that thought in the back of Charlies head...What if?
I adored this book. The characters where wonderful and I really enjoyed reading about all of them and their lives. I really enjoyed the time jumps as I love to see what a character is up too after a few years.
This book kept me gripped. I know I am loving a book when I don't look up at the slightest sound and this did that for me. I was so intrigued by this story and fascinated by the characters. I had to see what was going to happen. Had to follow Charlie on this journey of her life and the thoughts of what if in the back of her mind.
This book will have you hooked from the first page. It is filled with laughs, relationships, drama, love and hurt and it was just fantastic. The emotions behind Emma's writing really shines throughout this story and I just can't recommend it enough!
