Because murderers are never who you expect…
She was the quiet one… but is she guilty?
For twin sisters Rose and Bel, enrolling at the prestigious new boarding school should have been a fresh start. But with its sinister rituals and traditions, Odell soon brings out a deadly rivalry between the sisters.
For Sarah and husband Heath, the chance to teach at Odell seems like the best thing that ever happened to their small family – a chance to rise through the ranks and put the past behind them.
Until one dark night ends in murder.
But who’s guilty and who’s telling the truth? And who’s been in on it all along..?

My review

I give it - 5/5

My review -- This book had me gripped!

I was so invested in this book from the beginning. I needed to know what was happening, how this girl died and why. What was with this school and was this girl murdered?

Rose and Bel are twins and new to the school. But as time passes the sisters are more torn a part with how sinister this school is and how they seem to pit everyone together. Sarah and her husband Heath have the opportunity to teach at this boarding school. They think this is a great move for them and they are ready to start rising through the ranks. But things start to happen and someone is murdered.

People are torn. They start placing the blame on close friends and family. No one knows who to believe. But, when the truth comes out will they be able to handle it? Or, will someone make sure no one ever finds out what really happened that night?

I love this book. It was just so gripping and full of suspense. It kept you guessing until the end and you just constantly keep on wondering what happened and why. As the story starts to unravel the books gets more dark and more full of twists and you just won't see them coming.

A fantastic new book from Michele that I can't recommend enough!
