We all have fears we hide from. But in the end they will find us . . .
The Chalk Man is coming . . .
None of us ever agreed on the exact beginning. Was it when we started drawing the chalk figures, or when they started to appear on their own?
Was it the terrible accident?
Or when they found the first body?

My review

~I was sent a copy from the publishers-all opinions are my own~

I give it - 4/5

My review - wow, what a book.

There was so much that happened in this book that I just had to keep reading to see what was going to happen and why!

This book goes between the past and present. We meet Ed. He is in his 40s in the present and he has just received a letter of a chalk man drawing in the post. To other people it may just seem strange but nothing dangerous but, to Ed his childhood memories rush back to him as he remembers drawing them with his friends and the ones that just appeared by themselves and all the things that happened from these drawings. We go back to find out about all of this in his past.

I really liked Ed for a main character. He was an interesting character and I was interested to see what this book was about and what these drawings had to do with it all. He had a good group of friends and I enjoyed reading about the past and present and how it all ties together in the end.

The author has written such a fantastic book. The writing just flows so nicely and it was easy to gripped from the beginning and not stop until the end. It is one of those books you will just want to recommend to everyone. This book has a bit of everything, horror, thrilling scenes and also hints of humour that just really tied all this book together.

If you are looking for a new read this year I can't recommend this one enough!
