Vanessa Murphy doesn't do relationships.
With a father who doesn't notice her, it's easy for her to sneak around with her latest fling, Harrison Boyd. But when an explicit video of Vanessa hooking up with Harrison is leaked the morning after she ends things with him, her life is thrown into chaos.
And Vanessa wants payback. Enter Kai. With his own vendetta against Harrison, Kai proposes revenge, and the two pair up to ruin Harrison Boyd's life. At first, they are nothing more than an illicit partnership. Teammates working towards the same mission.
But – between late-night stakeouts and crime committing – Vanessa is drawn into Kai's life. And, as the two grow closer, she finds herself letting Kai into hers.

I give it - 4/5
My review - What a fantastic new book from Estelle! I am a huge fan of the DIMILY series and was really excited when I heard about The Wrong Side of Kai and it did not disappoint.
Filled with drama, relationships, romance and filled with all the things I love about her books. The characters where complex and I just adored them. I loved the story line and just didn't want this book to end. It is the perfect book to curl up with.
Vanessa has been through something terrible and now wants revenge on the person she thought she could trust. She meets Kai who also has his own vendetta and they decide to work together to get payback. But, as you know things don't run as smoothly and as the time passes and with them spending more time together some feelings are thrown into the mix.
Estelle has a done a wonderful job with this book. It is more than getting revenge. It's about sexism, men who think they have control over a woman's body and about grief and double standards. It had some really important themes and it was all done well. I love her writing and think she did an amazing job with this book.
You will feel for the characters, get angry at the characters and just want to hug them when you find out what they've been through.
This has to be my favourite book by Estelle so far and I cannot wait to see what she writes next!
