Wildflower Bay is a stunning, romantic summer read by Rachael Lucas. This little island has some big secrets...Isla's got her dream job as head stylist at the most exclusive salon in Edinburgh. The fact that she's been so single-minded in her career that she's forgotten to have a life has completely passed her by - until disaster strikes. My review

~I was sent a copy from the publishers-all opinions are my own~

I give it - 4/5

My review - After reading so much fantasy this was the perfect book to pick up next. It was so fun to read. Full of family relationships, romance, drama and it was all wrapped up in this wonderful book. I haven't read anything by Rachael before but I cannot wait to pick up her other books as she is a fantastic writer and really knows how to captivate the reader from the beginning.

We follow Isla in this book. She is a top stylist in Edinburgh and has been there for 5 years. She loves her job but has forgotten how to have a life. How to live a little as her life just revolves around her career, she is in her own little perfect bubble when something happens and she heads to the remote island of Auchenmor. There she will meet a bunch of characters to show her what she has been missing, she also meets Finn. Finn who has lived on the island his whole life and know that his friends are settling down and he the thoughts have hit him hard. But things are about to change when he meets Isla. Will she stay on the island for Finn and everyone else? Or will she head back to Edinburgh and go back into her bubble?

I thought this was such a beautiful story. Some moments where really sad and I just wanted to give the characters a big hug. Rachael really knows how to put a lot of emotion into the book and I just loved it so much.

A wonderful new book from Rachael that will have you laughing, crying, sighing and just loving the whole book. I cannot wait to read more of her books.
