36 Questions That Changed My Mind About You
by
Vicki Grant

Picture
Two random strangers. Thirty-six questions to make them fall in love. Hildy and Paul each have their own reasons for taking part in the psychology study (in Paul's case it is the $40, in Hildy's the reasons are significantly more complex). The study poses the simple question: Can love be engineered between two random strangers?Hildy and Paul must ask each other 36 questions, ranging from "What is your most terrible memory?" to "When did you last sing to yourself?" By the time Hildy and Paul have made it to the end of the questionnaire, they've laughed and cried and lied and thrown things and run away and come back again. They've also each discovered the painful secret the other was trying so hard to hide. But have they fallen in love?

I give it
- 5/5

My review - This was such a beautiful, adorable story! I didn't know what to expect with this but, I fell in love with this story.

This book is about a psychology experiment where they put two people together in a room and they both answer 36 questions and at the end they want to see if something has changed between them, if there are some feelings there. Hildy and Paul both decide to give it a go. They've never met before and both have different reason for this. Hildy, some complex reasons, is a really fun character. She is dealing with some problems at home and doesn't know what to make of them. Paul, is doing this for the $40 that you get for taking part, he also has a some things in his past that he really doesn't like talking about.

These two don't know what will happen at the end. There are some easy questions and some questions will make them think about their past, things wrong in their lives and just generally things they have blacked out from their mind. They will laugh, cry, argue and so much more.

I don't want to go too much into the story as it will spoil it but, it is adorable and also deals with family relationships, the ups and downs, siblings, friendships and so much. It is so adorable and I just adored this book.

If you're looking for a cute, fun book I can't recommend this enough! The characters are great, they're some illustrations as well in the book that just made me awww so much whilst reading. It's quite short and I think it's perfect for these cold nights!
