A Court Of Mist And Fury
by
Sarah J. Maas

Picture
The stunning sequel to Sarah J. Maas' New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses and a No.1 New York Times bestseller. Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court - but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms - and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future - and the future of a world cleaved in two.

My review

I give it - 5/5

My review - Bow down to the wonderful Sarah J. Maas.
I always worry about sequels, some have let me down in the past but this book, THIS BOOK was fantastic. In my opinion, better than ACOTAR, which is hard to do since that book was fantastic as well.

Sarah has blew it out of the park with this book. I loved being back in this world and reading about Feyre and her adventures...and Rhys...

In this book we are dealing with the aftermath of ACOTAR and if you haven't read that yet, then go read it and love it as much as I did. I think this has to be one of my favourite series of all time. The world, the characters, the storyline just everything was perfect.

I also loved the new characters! We get to read about old and new characters and how they're dealing with everything and how they're going to deal with things that are going to happen.

My hatred for Tamlin grew in this book. I wasn't a big fan of him in the first book and that hasn't changed with this book. He's gotten more controlling as he's letting his beast control him and becoming more of a arsehole.

Feyre is fantastic in this book. She's gotten more stronger, sassy and knows what she wants and how she wants to fight for it.

Of course we are introduced to a new bad guy, but I won't spoil any of this book for people who haven't read the first one. But if you're a big fantasy lover, this is the series for you.

And of course there's Rhys....my love for him has grew in this...plus the steamy scenes! This book is defiantly not for younger readers for the steamy scenes but it really adds to this story, with all the fighting going on.

All in all, this book killed me. One of the best fantasy books I have read this year and I cannot wait for more in this series. I was gripped from the very beginning and read it in one sitting...until the middle of the night. With it being over 600 pages I thought it would have taken me forever but, as soon as I started I couldn't stop and the time just flew by. I wish I would have taken my time with this book but I had to keep knowing what was going to happen next and now I'm 'patiently' waiting for the next one.

Thank you Sarah J. Maas for writing one of my most favourite books ever.
