You Know me Well by David Levithan & Nina Lacour
Who knows you well? Your best friend? Your boyfriend or girlfriend? A stranger you meet on a crazy night? No one, really? Mark and Kate have sat next to each other for an entire year, but have never spoken. For whatever reason, their paths outside of class have never crossed. That is until Kate spots Mark miles away from home, out in the city for a wild, unexpected night. Kate is lost, having just run away from a chance to finally meet the girl she has been in love with from afar. Mark, meanwhile, is in love with his best friend Ryan, who may or may not feel the same way. When Kate and Mark meet up, little do they know how important they will become to each other -- and how, in a very short time, they will know each other better than any of the people who are supposed to know them more.

My review - David and Nina work so well together! This was such a wonderful book by two wonderful authors and I enjoyed it so much! I've read quite a few books from David but this is the first from Nina and I can tell it won't be the last. Both of their writing styles work well together and the story just flowed nicely. I think this will defiantly be one of my favourite books of 2016 and I will have to re-read it pretty soon.
We follow Kate and Mark in this book. Switching every chapter to one or the other. Both of them are very comfortable in their sexuality and that is one thing that I liked about this book. That it wasn't a coming out book, not that they're bad but I was glad to read something a little different within LGBT. Mark fancies his best friend Ryan and Kate is in love with a girl named Violet. They sit next to each other in class but have never spoken to each other until this one night. The become instant best friends and even though this book is only spaced over several days it feels like they have know each other for a lifetime.(this book is spaced over PRIDE week in San Fran) Kate is trying to find the courage to not bail on Violet again like she did when they where to suppose to meet the night she runs into Mark and Mark is trying to deal with the guy he loves liking someone else. For Mark, which I loved, even though he loves his best friend he wants to keep him as a best friend and not let this drive a wedge between them. Kate and Violet have a wonderful relationship and I SHIP IT SO MUCH(I want more from them btw)
Kate and Mark just seem to click. They get on so well and provide so much support for each other.
I was gripped from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. I was emotionally invested into this book and I have to say, I would love more from these characters. To see what happened to Kate and Mark after the ending and see what their futures are like!
A big thanks to Nina and David for writing such a wonderful LGBT book based on drama, romance, relationship and most important-friendship. You never know where you're going to meet someone who will know you so well(see what I did there)
America's most famous pop star flees the spotlight to recover from her latest break-up in Maine - only to fall for a local boy and be faced with an impossible choice at the end of the summer: her new guy, or her music. Multiplatinum pop icon Lily Ross's biggest hits and biggest heartbreaks (because they are one and the same): 1. AGONY. (That feeling when her ex ripped her heart out of her chest and she never saw it coming.) 2. GHOSTS. (Because even famous people are ghosted by guys sometimes. And it sucks just as much.) 3. ONCE BITTEN. (As in: twice shy. Also, she's never dating an actor or a musician ever again.) But this summer's going to be different. After getting her heart shattered, Lily is taking herself out of the spotlight and heading to a small island in middle-of-nowhere Maine with her closest friends. She has three months to focus on herself, her music, her new album. Anything but guys. That is...until Lily meets sweet, down-to-earth local Noel Bradley, who is so different from anyone she's ever dated. Suddenly, Lily's "summer of me" takes an unexpected turn, and she finds herself falling deeper and harder than ever before. But Noel isn't interested in the limelight. She loves Noel-but she loves her fans, too. And come August, she may be forced to choose.

My review - I have been in a big music themed books lately so I was very happy that I got a copy of Sing by Vivi Greene! I have heard really great things about it and I just dived right in. I was hooked right away. It is filled with romance, drama, laughter, friendship, relationships and so much more!
In this book we follow Lily Ross. She is very famous singer and has recently just been dumped by a guy she thought was the one. Upset, her friends decided to take her away for the summer to get some downtime. To her friends, Tess place, it is very secluded and she is able to spend a lot of time outside without getting harassed by the paparazzi. Her tour is coming up and she needs to write some new songs but she is having writers block and then she runs into Noel. Tess knows him from when she was younger and they start hanging out together and then they both start to feel something for each other. Lily knows she has to leave soon for the tour but her heart lies with Noel and he doesn't want to travel as he has some family problems at home. Will Lily have to choose between her new love or her love for performing and her fans?
I have to say, I was really happy with how this book ended! It felt it rounded the story of nicely but it has made me want more from these characters! i feel like there is defiantly something there for Vivi to write more-just saying ;)
Lily was a wonderful character. She is very Taylor Swiftness within the book, as some of the lines in this book reminded me of her, she does try her best to put everyone first. But things happen and she gets called out on things but she does try her best. She has a lot to deal with and she does have a big decision coming up. Noel is so lovely, not only is he dating the world's biggest singer but he is hiding something from everyone but only to protect someone he really cares about. They have a great relationship and there is a big spark between them, but they come from different worlds. Can they make it work out? Find out by picking up SING! It is a fantastic story that had me gripped from the beginning. It was very fast-paced and I finished it pretty quick and just loved it and its characters!

My review - As you all know, this is very different from the kind of books I read. I've been wanting to get out of my comfort zone so I was happy when I got sent a copy of this book to review as I knew this was way out of my comfort zone. I wasn't sure if I would like it or even enjoy it but I surprised myself by really enjoying this book! It did take me a few chapters to get into it but then I was gripped and couldn't put it down. This is a really big book but I feel like I just flew right through it as the time just passed by and I would recommend this to everyone! Everyone who is the same as me who wants to try some books out of their comfort zone as I think everyone would really enjoy it.
This story is about Violet. The prologue is in 1919 and then we go back to 1913. Violet is in a relationship with one of her fathers employee's, Frank. But their affair is overshadowed by the first world war.
I love that the author has used his own family history in this book and it made it that more beautiful. Even though it is about the war it has more focuses around family and love. I love the showing of the bravery of the soldiers. facing hard times and about a mother who bravely gets on with everything going on and I loved every second of it-I cannot wait to read more from David as he tells a wonderful story with his own family history within it.

My review - What a wonderful first book in a new series by Lauren Layne! As you all know I am a big fan of romance books and this one really had me intrigued so I was really happy when I got sent a copy and now I cannot wait for the other books in this series! It was filled with drama, family relationships and romance and I loved every second of it.
Brooke moves to New York at starts working at Wedding Belles after her own wedding was cut short when her fiance got taken away by the police when they where at the aisle...not the best thing to happen before you say I do. She is ready for a fresh start and already has her first client. Maya Tyler is getting married to man after only knowing him for 3 months and her brother Seth isn't all too happy about it, since he has never met the guy. The Tylers are very known and very rich so it seems a little bit fishy to Seth that they got engaged really quickly. Brooke, on the other hand believes they are really in love and is very excited to help with their wedding-even if she has to deal with Seth who is very uptight.
But, there is something there between them. They both can feel it but Brooke isn't ready for another relationship with what happened to her not that long ago. Can Seth convince Brooke to give it a go? Can she make him loosen up a little? And why is Maya's fiance always going out on 'business'?
I just loved this book. Brooke knows what she wants but tries her hardest not to let anything happen between her and Seth. Even after what happened to her she is still loving her job of planning weddings. Her and Seth's relationship is a rollarcoaster. They will get on for awhile then one of them will say something and will set them off and they both love it. Seth is really protective over his sister as their father died not that long ago. Some times his protectiveness is a little bit crazy but his heart is in the right place.
This was a brilliant story from Lauren and I enjoyed every second of it. I was gripped from the very beginning and didn't put it down until I had finished it and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series when it is out!

My review - At first, I was praying there was going to be more books after this one after I finished it and then I found out there is going to be TWO more books and I am so happy! This book was just the most wonderful read. I am in a big boybandlit mood lately and I was so happy when I got a copy of this book in the mail and picked it up straight away and read in 2 hours without putting it down-It's that good.
I was gripped from the very beginning and I felt like I was there with Charlie as she went on her adventures with the band.
In this story we meet Charlie. She gets a facebook message from a guy who use to go to her school, a guy who is apart of the most popular band in the world and he is asking her to take photos of the band backstage as he remembers some of the photos she took a few years back. Charlie doesn't want to go for it at first but with a shove from her best friend she does it and has a great time but, she wants to stay anonymous as the kids at her school are obsessed with the band and Charlie isn't the most popular person at her school.
She starts to get to know the band, especially Gabriel the lead singer. Gabriel is having a tough time and he likes Charlie and she likes him but she realises there is something familiar with the songs he has recently written. How she has read the lyrics before and how is this all connected to their parents?
I really loved all the characters in this book. Charlie is always thinking of her mother who has passed and she always wears her hat in memory of her and reads her journals. Her and her father have an alright relationship but he is always a bit busy and is always trying to protect Charlie. I love her relationship with Melissa, her best friend. They have a few bumps in the road but they know they can both depend on each other and then her relationship with the band-Charlie becomes good friends with all of them and it gets harder for her when she has to deal with things popping up and she is worried with what will happen if people find out she hangs out with them and if something is going to happen with Gabriel.
She has a lot to deal with and I have a feeling that there is going to be a lot more drama in the next book and I am so ready for it with the way Chris has ended this book and it has left me with many questions!
This was brilliant book by Chris! Filled with relationships, family, friends, drama, relationships, romance and laughs and I loved every second of it!
Seventeen-year-old Nina doesn't get why everyone's obsessed with The Point - but when she averts a backstage disaster and is offered a job on tour, she can hardly turn it down. She quickly learns that being with the hottest band on the planet isn't as easy as it looks: behind the scenes, the boys are on the verge of splitting up. Tasked with keeping an eye on four gorgeous but spoiled rock stars, Nina's determined to stick it out - and not fall for any of them ...
My review - This book gave me all of the feels. Some of my friends had raved about this book and I knew I had to pick it up and I'm so glad I did! I was instantly gripped from the very beginning. I was there with Nina throughout this whole book and I loved every second of it and I need more.
Nina and her sister, Ariel who is a massive The Point fan, get meet and greet tickets and go to meet the band. To Ariel they are everything, to Nina they remind her of heartbreak but she would do anything for her sister. After the meet and greet Nina is asked to become a PA for the lead singers fiance. She is a little wary at first but decides to take the opportunity especially as she will be travelling around the world. She finds out what the band is really like and certain things happen, with them almost splitting up and the fiance being a little to nice to her and she has to deal with not trying to fall for a certain band member-even if their songs bring her bad memories.
This book is filled with laughs, drama, romance and friendship. The Point have been together for years and with everything changing and them falling out their manger tries to help them get that feeling back and go back to how they where. Nina is thrown into this craziness but she handles it very well even if she has to handle that and doing her exams. Her relationship with her family is great. She helps out a lot with taking care of her brothers and sisters as her parents work a lot and she has a good group of friends that are always there for her and make her laugh. Her relationship with the band is crazy. At first, they ignore her. But she does things that surprises them and is very caring when they need someone to help them and her relationship with a certain someone kills me, in a good way.
This book had me gasping, had my heart breaking, laughing, squealing-it just had me doing everything and that's how I knew I fell completely in love with this book and the characters and I want more. I'm glad about the ending but I miss these characters already.
A fantastic boybandlit novel from Sophia and I cannot wait to read more of her books!
