My review - This book is one of the best books I have read so far this year. It was so fun and the first line mentioned fanfiction. After reading that I knew I was going to love this book.
What would you do if you where on a spaceship all by yourself and years away from earth? That is what Romy is going through. She was born on this ship and after a fatal accident with the crew and then later her parents, she finds herself alone controlling the ship and waiting to arrive on Earth. After receiving an email that says a ship is now on its way to meet up with Romy as it has better equipment and a lot faster, she starts to get excited. Getting to finally be around people.
She starts to write emails to the mysterious J. Who is on the ship on the way to her. She starts to fall for J and can hardly wait till he gets to her but, something strange is happening. She hasn't heard anything from Molly back on earth and she has started getting emails about something that has happened and something she has no control over. Can she figure out what is going on, even if shes millions of miles away? And will she ever find out who J is and figure out the truth?
This book was not what I expected. This book was about a girl who is basically the loneliest girl in the universe and loves to write fanfiction. I adored Romy and I loved reading about her adventure. This book was filled with drama, laughs and even some thriller themes which totally caught me of guard!
I loved this book and I can't recommend it enough!
Nathan Riley is ready to follow in the footsteps of his famous football player father. He's been drafted as quarterback for his dad's former team, and his sports future is bright. When his friend Mia Cassidy moves to the same city, their years-long friendship suddenly sparks hot, reminding him of the one night they had together in college that he can never forget.Like Nathan, Mia is from a sports-dynasty family and embarking on an incredible new career - as founder of her own sports management company. Her friendship with Nathan means everything to her, and tossing sex into the mix again could jeopardize it all. But the chemistry between them has always sizzled, and it isn't long before Mia realizes she wants more with Nathan than just late-night talks and pizza. Passion has a funny way of changing the rules, and soon Nathan and Mia realize that to win it all, they'll have to make an unexpected play for love.

My review - I love this series. I really like that each book is a standalone but, you can always find some of the characters from other books in it. I'm sad I haven't read all the books in this series and that needs to change soon. I really enjoy these books as they are filled with romance, drama, hot sport guys. Just everything I need to help get me out of a book slump. Also goes great with a glass of wine.
In this book we follow Nathan and Mia. Mia is taking a big step in her career and opening up a sports management company. She wants to do this all on her own, with some help from one of her friends. Nathan is taking over his fathers role as quarterback. Everyone sees how great he is but, he can't help but feel nervous about not living up to his father.
Nathan and Mia are friends and met in collage. Both coming from sport families they click instantly and Nathan is super happy that she has moved to the city and they get to see each other again....and not talk about the one night they shared in collage when they where both a little drunk.
Mia and Nathan are both attracted to each other but, they don't want to ruin their friendship. Nathan sees how stressed Mia is getting with her job and wants to help her out a little. Two friends, fooling around, no feelings involved, how bad can it be?
Along the way they start to fall for each other and Mia is worried. Worried that it would change their friendship forever and not to mention what the media would say.
Can Mia get past her worries and follow her heart? Or will she want to protect her heart and break things off before it gets to serious?
I love this book. I really felt for both characters as they went on this journey. It was fun reading about what they got up to. I love the friendships within this book with other characters and how they look out for each other.
If you haven't started these books yet, I can't recommend them enough. Full of laughs, romance, drama and so much more. Each book follows different people and I just love them. This has to be one of my favourites from the series and I can't wait to get the rest of them soon.
They think I hurt someone. But I didn't. You hear? Cos people are gonna be telling you all kinds of lies. I need you to know the truth. Joe hasn't seen his brother for ten years, and it's for the most brutal of reasons. Ed is on death row. But now Ed's execution date has been set, and Joe is determined to spend those last weeks with him, no matter what other people think ...

My review - Sarah Crossan is one of those authors I just adore. She writes such beautiful stories that I always find myself captivated whilst reading them and it was no different for Moonrise. I was so excited when I heard about this book and when it came to my flat I had to pick it up straight away, I just knew it was going to be fantastic and it did not let me down.
Also-how beautiful is this cover?! Definitely one of my favourites. It is so gorgeous and stunning, I just love it.
This is a story about Joe Moon who travels to Texas to visit his older brother Ed who is on death row. As soon as I heard this description I knew I had to read it straight away. It is such an interesting plot and really gets you thinking about the death penalty.
This is a book about love, family, hope and how to deal with these certain situations. I love how this book felt very real. I don't really read many books that are written in verse but, for Sarah Crossan I will. She has written something so wonderful that I just couldn't put it down. It really touched on many subjects and she did it in a perfect way and getting her argument across.
If you have never read a Sarah Crossan book, why? I would recommend this one straight away! It is just one of my favourites that she has ever written.
On September 5th, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: they're going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: there's an app for that. It's called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure - to live a lifetime in a single day.

My review - Oh Adam Silvera what are you doing to me.
Earlier this year I read History Is All You Left Me and I just sobbed my heart out. I was so excited to hear that this book was coming out and even more when it came to my house. I knew I needed tissues like, come on the title kinda gives it away!
This book was another beautiful book by Adam. He really knows how to capture the heart of the reader and sometimes, crush it.
What would you do in a world where you knew when you was going to die but only given 24 hours notice? In this world they now are able to tell when people die. You get a phone call, which won't give away much information and you are told to basically live your last 24 hours as you want. There is an app. Where you can find people who are also going to die and become friends, talk, deal with what is going to happen to you with each other.
Mateo and Rufus both get the call and find each other on the app. This is a story about these two boys trying to deal with this being their last 24 hours alive. Both are going through some stuff but, getting a phone call saying you are going to die isn't the best. They are ready to spend their last day having one last great adventure.
I don't want to go into too much detail about this book as I think you need to read it without knowing too much. It is a beautiful story about friendship, family and so much more. About how people deal with this situation in different ways. This book is filled with a great set of characters who really bring it all together.
Adam has done it again with another brilliant book. It had me gripped from the beginning and I really enjoyed reading about Mateo and Rufus and the rest. If you haven't picked this up yet I recommend you do as it is just so heartbreakingly good.
