Ever had a bad day? Try having one on the moon... WELCOME TO ARTEMIS. The first city on the moon. Population 2,000. Mostly tourists. Some criminals. Jazz Bashara is a criminal. She lives in a poor area of Artemis and subsidises her work as a porter with smuggling contraband onto the moon. But it's not enough. So when she's offered the chance to make a lot of money she jumps at it. But though planning a crime in 1/6th gravity may be more fun, it's a lot more dangerous...

I give it - 5/5
My review - What a fantastic book!
I am a huge fan of Andy Weir. The Martian is one of my all time favourite books and I was so excited to get an early copy of this book. I've already re-read it 3 times. Andy really knows how to grip the reader. I was gasping and laughing and shocked...it was just brilliant. I was instantly captivated from the beginning.
How can you not be interested about a story on the moon?
I felt like I was there the entire time. I enjoyed reading about Jazz. All she has known is life on the moon and working hard to get what she can and also doing some jobs on the side to get her a little extra. Then, she is offered a big opportunity that could open some doors with for her and she instantly says yes but, along the way she realises how dangerous it could be and what has she really gotten herself into?
If you loved The Martian you are going to love this. I just adored how it was written. It has a sense of humour you can just enjoy and it has enough drama to keep the reader on their toes.
I can't recommend this book enough. It was fast-paced, gripping, had me laughing out loud and some moments I just wanted to give Jazz a hug and a high five.
Andy has done it again with a brilliant novel and if you see it you need to pick it up as you won't regret it.
