Bookish and the Beast review

Rosie Thorne is feeling stuck--on her college application essays, in her small town, and on that mysterious General Sond cosplayer she met at ExcelsiCon. Most of all, she's stuck in her grief over her mother's death. Her only solace was her late mother's library of rare Starfield novels, but even that disappeared when they sold it to pay off hospital bills.
On the other hand, Vance Reigns has been Hollywood royalty for as long as he can remember--with all the privilege and scrutiny that entails. When a tabloid scandal catches up to him, he's forced to hide out somewhere the paparazzi would never expect to find him: Small Town USA. At least there's a library in the house. Too bad he doesn't read.
When Rosie and Vance's paths collide and a rare book is accidentally destroyed, Rosie finds herself working to repay the debt. And while most Starfield superfans would jump at the chance to work in close proximity to the Vance Reigns, Rosie has discovered something about Vance: he's a jerk, and she can't stand him. The feeling is mutual.
But as Vance and Rosie begrudgingly get to know each other, their careful masks come off--and they may just find that there's more risk in shutting each other out than in opening their hearts.

My review

~I was gifted a copy from the publishers - all opinions are my own~

I give it -
5/5

My review - I love, love, love this book!
I absolutely adore the first two books in this series and I was so excited when I got this book in my mail box and had to read it straight away. I love the way they all connect but, are their own story and of course, how geeky it is. It is wonderful.

I was so excited hearing that this was a beauty and the beast retelling. They can be a hit and miss but this one is a hit and big HIT! If you haven't started this series yet you need too before this one comes out as they are just wonderful and oh so fun.

We follow the events of ExcelsiCon and meet Rosie Thorne. She lives at home with her father and is dealing with the fact she has to write her collage application essay which, she isn't finding too easy to write. When an accident happens and a rare books is destroyed she asked to fix up a library to repay her debt. Vance Reigns is hiding out from the paparazzi after he caused a bit of drama. A big house with an even bigger library. With her being a big Starfield fan and him being a big jerk she isn't too happy having to be close to him (or so she says) but also cannot believe her luck!

The library needs fixing up they don't have long but, some days seem longer than the others. Especially when you are cooped up with the Vance Reigns.

I love the drama, the romance, the banter and I just really enjoyed every second off it. This is a series I can happily read over and over again. I love the characters and the plot. I also love that there is a dog in this book.

A fantastic edition to this series that I just adored every second off!
