My review - I love Jenn Bennetts and her books and this one was just so good. They always leave me feeling happy after going through the ups and downs with the characters.
In this book we follow Josie. She and her mother are constantly moving from town to town but, they move back home for awhile as her grandmother is going away and she wants them to help look after the bookshop she owns with her cousin. Josie knows it's not forever and has plans for what she wants to do with her life but someone catches her eye.
Lucky is known as the towns bad boy and has a reputation that everyone seems to gossip about. When Josie was little they use to be best friends before her mother wanted to leave this small town and they lost touch. He is not the same little smiley boy she remembers and he has gotten a lot cuter since they where younger. Josie knows she shouldn't show any interest since her family believe they are cursed from finding love but, when she finds herself arrested and in a cell with him things are about to change.
I love this book. Josie adores photography and she is wanting to move and take a future in it. When she moves back to town she doesn't think anything exciting will happen but she soon becomes the talk of the town. There are people in this town who think they own the town and I hated them.
Josie and Lucky use to be the best of friends but now things have changed. Lucky has changed but, underneath all that tough exterior is there still the boy she remembers? Things are about to change for these two and are they ready to risk everything?
Another wonderful book from Jenn. I was instantly gripped and wanted to know more about these characters and their history. It was wonderfully written with a bunch of interesting characters that I really enjoyed reading about. It is a book you can instantly just go into and curl up with in the evening.
This book has quite a bit of different dramas and a family who just need to talk things out. Not everything is perfect but hopefully with their move back to town things can start to change for all of these characters. A book more than romance, about family and piecing back together friendships and it was just wonderful.
