What happens when love brings loss? When love brings lies? When love brings hate? Olivia and her twin brother Aidan are heading alone back to Earth following the virus that wiped out the rest of their crew, and their family, in its entirety. Nathan is part of a community heading in the opposite direction. But on their journey, Nathan's ship is attacked and most of the community killed. Only a few survive. Their lives unexpectedly collided, Nathan and Olivia are instantly attracted to each other, deeply, head-over-heels - like nothing they have ever experienced. But not everyone is pleased. Surrounded by rumours, deception, even murder, is it possible to live out a happy ever after...?

I give it - 5/5
,My review - I have to admit, I've never read anything my Malorie Blackman until CHASING THE STARS and I really want to go and pick up all her other books after reading this.
Have you ever read a book and it's left you in a glass case of emotions after finishing it? That's what this book has done to me...(My boyfriend would tell you I was cuddling the book afterwards, stroking it and making unintelligible sounds) it was beautiful, heartbreakingly beautiful.
In this book we get the POV from Olivia or Vee and Nathan. Olivia is the captain of the Aiden ship, and also has a brother called Aiden and one day she saves Nathan and his crew and suddenly, there is love in the air! But there is a lot of secrets these both have, secrets that could tear them apart. Plus, there is someone on the ship murdering other people and they have to deal with the Mazon...a lot for them to deal with, can they overcome it and be with each other?
I won't spoil this book as it is best just to go into this book not knowing what is going to happen. This book is more than love! There's drama, friendship, family, laughs and some saucy scenes. The Family element was so beautiful in this book! It was lovely to see how much Vee and Aiden cared for each after all they've been through.
I would suggest that this book is for more of the older teen side for mature themes, which I thought where done very nicely.
This book just left me with so many emotions, I might have shed a few tears at the end but it was just perfect and I think a great first book to get into Malorie Blackman's writing! I really hope she writes more in this universe as I would love to go back into this world!
