Dream a Little Dream

Sarah is doing just fine. Sure she's been single for the last five years, and has to spend an uncomfortable amount of time around her ex-boyfriend, his perfect new girlfriend and all their mutual friends. And yes, her job as a PA to one of the most disgusting men in London is mind-numbingly tedious and her career is a constant disappointment to her mother. But it's really okay. She's happy (ish).
So it's not surprising that when Sarah starts dreaming about a handsome stranger, she begins to look forward to falling asleep every night. Reality isn't nearly as exciting. That is until her dream-stranger makes an unexpected real-life appearance, leaving Sarah questioning everything she thought she wanted.
Because no one ever really finds the person of their dreams . . . do they?

My review

I give it - 5/5

My review - Can you believe this is my first Giovanna book? Nope, neither can I.

A lot of my friends rave about her books and I knew I just had to give them a go and I am so glad I did. Now, I need to go and get all her other books because I am so ready to just take a week of work and read them all.

In this book we follow Sarah. She is single, has the same group of friends from Uni including her ex-boyfriend who now has a new girlfriend, a job she doesn't care for that much as she wants a better position it and a mother who rarely gives her praise. But, she says she's fine so....

Sarah starts to have some dreams. About a guy who was friends with a friends brother and she starts to wonder why. She doesn't remember him that well but, she is enjoying the dreams. She starts to look forward to sleeping. But, one day he turns up at her job.

You can't really find the man of your dreams? Can you?

Sarah knows the dream guy and the real guy aren't the same. She dreamt him up differently and he has these little quirks and likes to flirt with her in real life but, she can't believe it's him. She starts to get closer to him and things start to go just right for her in the love and job department but, things are  never like a good dream....or are they?

I just adored this book. I really enjoyed reading about Sarah. She has a great group of friends that I just really enjoyed reading about. She is over her ex but, it's hard seeing him with his new girlfriend especially when certain things come up. Can her dreams make her happy? Will she actually get the man of her dreams?

A beautiful story of possibly finding the one. Of moving on with your life and taking the steps to make your life what you want.
