An untold prophecy hides in the dreams of two strangers. Outgrowing the fairytales of her grandfather, Emmy's explosive personality set her on a fast track for success in the eye of America's social standards, until her abusive marriage forced her to flee town.
Lillian sought a simple existence in the solace of England's rural countryside, wanting only to disappear into her herbalism books after the death of her mentor and the return of her childhood hauntings.
In slumber, their lives converge, forcing each woman to search for answers about the strangers they meet in dreaming. Answers that have been kept from them and the others for centuries. A strange prophecy will drag them in between the lines of the past to confront the formidable adversaries controlling their lives, and uncover their identity.
I give it - 5/5
My review - I am amazed by this story that I now need the next one in the series! It was absolutely fantastic! Bec's style of writing really brought this story to life and made it into one of the best books I have read this year.
It was really different from anything I have read so far!
I really enjoyed how each chapter was about one of the main two characters, Lillian and Emmy, and how after a chapter about Lillian it would go straight back to the story about Emmy and it was very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the description in this book. It was wonderful and such a breath of fresh air!
When I started reading this book I was determined to find out about their dreams and connection and at the end I was just so ready for the next book I might of squealed.
I will recommend this story to everyone! Everyone should read this story and love it as much as I did.
Well done to Bec for writing this brilliant story that I will probably re-read again this week!
