I give it - 4/5
My review - What a fantastic book! I was gripped from the beginning and didn't put it down until I finished it and I loved this story.
In this story we follow Jess. Jess has had it quite hard for the past few years. She prefers to dress differently and get's ridiculed for it until one time she gets badly hurt and her best friend Eden is there for her to help her get through it all. A year later, Eden is going through a rough time and one day goes missing. Jess is freaking out about possibly loosing her best friend and she starts looking around trying to find her with Eden's boyfriend Liam. Can Jess find Eden before it's too late? Can she save her this time?
A lot comes to light in this story. You find out more about both Jess and Eden and their past. What they've been through and what Eden is currently dealing with. They are both hiding secrets from each other.
This book is really focused on friendship. Yes, there is family drama and relationships. But it is about two girls, growing older and dealing with a lot of problems. They get on each others nerves sometimes and they are hiding things from each other but with Eden going missing you can really tell that Jess loves her a lot and will do anything to find her best friend.
I really loved the characters in this book. Jess is trying to get past to what happened to her by running and drawing. Eden has started to drink to take away the pain. They have seem to swap lives with how they're going. They where both interesting characters and I really love where Liz went with this story. It was intriguing from the start and I couldn't stop reading until I knew what was happening with them and what was going to happen.
