I give it - 4/5
My review - I received this book the other day and picked it up the same day and couldn't put it down. It was so good and I just loved this book.
I am a huge fan of Jennifer and I love her books!
Jillian has taken a job at her fathers place, a place she grew up in. 6 years ago she was hurt and she doesn't feel as confident anymore. She feels like people look at her differently because of what happened. Also 6 years ago her heart was broken by her friend Brock.
But, one day she finds out that Brock is going to be her boss at her job and she can't believe what's happening. She has tried to get over him but, first loves are hard to get over. Jillian is ready to show Brock that she isn't the little girl from all those years ago and Brock is ready to try and win Jillian over. But, with both of them dealing with guilt and secrets can they overcome those obstacles and put their past behind them and finally be together? Or will things get in their way?
I really loved this story. Jillian has been through a lot and she is trying to deal with what happened to her and just be herself. Brock, even though he's cocky, he is dealing with things as well and seeing Jillian again brings up a lot of memories, some good and some bad. They need to learn how to be together and try and let the past go.
A brilliant romance novel from Jennifer. A story of heartache, love, friendship and of course some hot scenes ;)
A must read for fans of Jaci Burton and Jill Shalvis.
