A thrilling read, for fans of Gone Girl and We Were Liars. There was no sign of a struggle, they whisper to each other. She took her phone but left her laptop behind. Apparently, she'd met someone online, they write to each other in class, phones buzzing. She ran away. She was taken. The first time Aiden Kendrick hears about Lizzie Summersall's disappearance is when the police appear at his front door. He and Lizzie used to be friends; they aren't anymore. And when Aiden finds out that Lizzie had been talking to strangers on Facebook; that the police think she went to meet one of them, he begins to wonder how well he ever really knew her, and Aiden doesn't know it yet, but with Lizzie's disappearance his life is about to take a twisted and desperate turn.

My review

~I was sent a free copy from the publishers, this in no way affects my opinion~

I give it - 5/5

My review - I ADORED this book! I didn't put it down once and finished it in a few hours, it was so gripping from the very start and I didn't stop reading until I found out the truth.

In this story we follow Aiden. The first time Aiden hears of Lizzie's disappearance is when the police come to his house to ask him some questions. Him and Lizzie use to be close but then Summer happened and they lost touch. No one knows what's happened to Lizzie, but messages on her computer to a certain 'Hal' have made people think she has ran away to meet this guy of the internet, which brings the question; do you know who you're really talking to online?

This book is such a gripping page turner. From the very first chapter I needed to know what has happened to Lizzie and what was going on between her and Aiden.

This book took a lot of twists that I was not expecting! Which is great to read in a YA thriller, I love not knowing what is going to happened and this book did that.

I loved this book as this girls disappearance really shook the town and everyone was getting questioned and I started questioning what I thought had happened to Lizzie and who could possibly be behind it.

It may be early in the year but this is defiantly my favourite YA Thriller book of 2016! Nicci has a great style of writing that just flowed which made the book so gripping and I cannot wait to read more from Nicci!
