Around the time that Freya loses her voice while recording her debut album, Harun is making plans to run away from home to find the boy that he loves, and Nathaniel is arriving in New York City after a family tragedy leaves him isolated on the outskirts of Washington state.
After the three of them collide in Central Park, they slowly reveal the parts of their past that they haven't been able to confront, and together, they find their way back to who they're supposed to be. Told over the course of a single day from three different perspectives, this is a story about the power of friendship and being true to who you are.

I give it - 4/5
My review - Gayle Forman is one of my all time favourite authors. I have always adored her writing and I was so excited she was writing a new book and the lovely Simon & Schuster kindly sent me an early copy(love you)I instantly picked it up. It has to be one of my favourites from Gayle. She really knows how to write a book that keeps you gripped and the characters all had their own story to tell. They all had something going on or something bad happen to them and Gayle was able to show their emotion and their lives through this story.
We have three teens in this book. They have all had something happen to them. All different and they all meet at Central Park. I really like how this story was told from each of their POV's. It really gives you insight to each of the characters, their thoughts and their lives. They find each other and are able to tell each other about their lives, whats happened and just talk about things they can't tell anyone else. They are able to open up to each other and for each of them, they just want to talk about it to someone who will understand and possibly comfort them.
Each character feels lost in their lives and this meeting is something big to them.
A brilliant novel from Gayle that you need to read and find out more about each character. There is so much in this story and it's just so beautiful and full of heartache, friendship and so much more!
