Life as the undercover daughter of a rock god isn't going to be easy. How will Jessie adjust to her old boring life again after spending her summer living it up with her dad in LA? With tough decisions ahead (and not just choosing between two hot boys), can she cope juggling her two very different lives? Summer may be over, but Jessie's story is just beginning...
~book is from Maximum Pop as part of the read-a-long~
I give it - 5/5
My review - I started this as soon after I read the first book-The Accidental Life Of Jessie Jefferson- I was so excited to read this book as I loved the first one and I was not disappointed at all!
Jessie is keeping the fact about Johnny Jefferson being her father a secret. She has told a few people but she and her family want to keep this on the down low so she can finish school without being bombarded by paparazzi. She also has to deal with her friends in the US and the lead singer of a band the very hot Jack, and with her friends in the UK and a cute boy named Tom who she liked before going to LA for the summer. She has a lot to deal with at the age of 15 but she does deal with well. There are some choices in this book I was awwing at but I really liked her character growth in this book.
Like the first one I was gripped from the very first page and I couldn't put it down once. It had me hooked until the very end and I need more. It didn't really leave on a cliff-hanger but it left me wanting more and I cannot wait to read more from Jessie and her crazy life
