I give it - 5/5
My review - I loved this book.
It reminded me of when I was a child and my parents used to read me Fairy Tales so I really enjoyed every second of this book.
In this book we have 9 different fairytales and folktales, they are;
The Story Of Yexian by Duan Chengshi
Puss In Boots by Charles Perrault
Hop O' My Thumb by Charles Perrault
The Twelve Dancing Princesses by The Brothers Grimm
The Red Shoe by Hans Christian Andersen
The Story Of Chernushka by Alexander Nikolayevich Afanasyev
Brer Rabbit and Mr. Dog by Joel Chandler Harris
Perseus And The Winged Sandals by Murielle Szac
The Pair Of Shoes by Pierre Gripari
Each story was beautifully written and I really loved every second of them.
Also, how beautiful are the illustrations?
Each story is connected, as they are all about shoes and I really loved that. That the book has a theme and each story had something to do with shoes. It was like you where stepping into their shoes and I really liked that.
I think this beautiful fairy tale book would be loved by all, from the young to the old. I really love fairy tales and folktales so this one was perfect for me.
So if you're looking for fairytale and folktale book that is beautifully illustrated I suggest this one.
