I give it
- 4/5

My review - A story of friendships, romance, lies, cheats, secrets, scandals and a murder.

A story that will keep you guessing until the very end. A story that will grip you from the first page. A brilliant debut novel from Michele that had me guessing and shocked at every turn.

In this book we have Kate, Aubrey and Jenny. They met at collage and even though they had their fair share of fall outs and spats they remained friends. 20 years have passed and things aren't the best between them. They are all married but some are not so happy in their marriages or the way their life has gone. Then suddenly, one has mysteriously died. The body find and it looks like murder. All eyes point to the husband but, could it have been one of the other girls? They haven't been close for awhile but, they wouldn't hurt each other...would they?

With things brought up from their past they are about to get tested. In this town, everyone is suspecting everyone. Who killed her and why?

It's always the husband...isn't it?

Obviously, I'm not going to say which of the girls die. That is a part that I think you need to find out for yourself and as it will have you guessing. The friends are all so different. They all have different upbringings, different goals but, they get along...for awhile.

A brilliant debut that will keep you guessing and gripped from the very first page! I love how it kept going from the present and back to when the girls where in college which gave me more insight to see what the girls where like and how their friendship started.
