I give it - 5/5 My review - If like me, you've been waiting for this book for 12 years. I was so happy when it was announced. This is a book I have been waiting for and it was everything I wanted and more. She has done such a good job with this book and it really made me so happy to read it. As soon as I got this yesterday I read it in one. I just had too and told my partner to not bother me until I was finished. If you've never read Twilight it is about 17 year old Bella Swan who moves to Forks to live with her father, Charlie and here she meets the mysterious Edward Cullen and the rest of the Cullen family. Midnight Sun is from Edward's POV. I love reading a book that shows you both sides to the main characters as it gives more insight to their thoughts. This book gave a lot into the mind of Edward Cullen and I loved it. I really love that we got parts of his past how the others came to be. I also love the relationship between the Cullens. It really shows more of their family life and how they get along most of the time and it also showed how much I still love Emmett and his funny ways. It also showed how Edward dealt with the whole thing. How he wanted to do the right thing but he wanted to be selfish. He wanted Bella and once it started happening, when he started to let go, there was no way he could stay away from her. Getting to see how he interacts with the rest of the Cullen family is so wonderful. They really do have a great relationship even if they do argue a lot. It was great to see what happened with conversations when certain events happened like when he saves her from the car. How each of the family members felt on the situation. Edward fights a lot with himself over whats right and whats wrong. He knows because of what he is he can't keep Bella forever and ruin her life but, he wants what he can have right now and he is tired of staying away. He fights a lot with himself at the beginning and I really enjoyed reading how more carefree his character got when he was able to open up more to her. A great book for fans of the Twilight saga and for those who have been waiting for this book for a long time. There is something that is just so lovely to be back in Forks and reading about these characters and this story. This story that got me into reading all those years ago and I really loved it. I always want more from this series, especially more about Alice but having more insight to Edward and the Cullen family was wonderful. It is a BIG book but once you're in you won't be able to stop!
