If you'd been given a second chance at life, what's the first thing you would do? Now that artist Bailey is finally healthy for the first time in forever, she's living life to the full. First on her wishlist is skiing in the Rockies - at least it will be if she can get down the mountain in one piece...Luckily, a ski patrolling Prince Charming comes to Bailey's aid. Learning that her mysterious rescuer, Hudson Kincaid, is also the subject of the mural she's been commissioned to paint in Cedar Ridge, Bailey is intrigued. As she uncovers the real man behind Hudson's strong, silent facade, Bailey begins to realise that the life of adventure she has always dreamed of could be closer to home than she ever imagined.

My review

I give it
- 4/5

My review - This is the second book in the Cedar Ridge Series and we are following the love life of another Kincaid sibling - Hudson.

Bailey's life has been hard. But now she is better and she has a list. A list of things she wants to do now that she can do it. She is hired to paint a mural of the Kincaid children and that is where she meets Hudson. Hudson is dealing with a lot, his mother, who is in the hospital, making sure Cedar Ridge runs properly and rescuing people when their skiing goes wrong and worrying about his twin brother Jacob. He doesn't have time for love. But, Bailey is everywhere he turns. Painting the mural, trying to ski, hanging out with his family...neither of them want anything serious but they can't stop the attraction. Can either of them do this without getting into deep? Or will it be too late for both of them?

This was a great second book in the Cedar Ridge series. I love how you will still read about the main characters from the previous books but you get to read about different characters and their lives. The Kincaids have had a tough life and none of them expect to find love. Hudson doesn't want love, he wants his mother and brother back but sometimes you don't get a say in what happens to you.

Bailey has had it rough and she doesn't want love, she wants to travel and explore-who says she can't have both?

Another fantastic book from Jill Shalvis. Full of drama, romance, relationships, sexyness and defiantly some funny moments. This book has everything you'll want if you're looking for a fun romance book then this is defiantly the book for you. I cannot recommend Jill Shalvis enough and this was one of my favourite books from her yet!
