Nobody But You
by
Jill Shalvis

Picture

After an overseas mission goes wrong, Army Special Forces officer Jacob Kincaid knows where he must go to make things right: back home to the tiny town of Cedar Ridge, Colorado. All he needs to scrub away his dark past is fresh mountain air, a lakeside cabin, and quiet solitude. But what he discovers is a gorgeous woman living on a boat at his dock. Sophie Marren has nowhere else to go. She's broke, intermittently seasick, and fighting a serious attraction to the dark, dishy, I'm-too-sexy-for-myself guy who's now claiming her dock. Something about Jacob's dark intensity makes her want to tease - and tempt - him beyond measure. Neither one wants to give any ground...until they realize the only true home they have is with each other.

My review

~I was sent a copy from the publishers-all opinions are my own~

I give it - 4/5

My review - This is the 3rd book in the wonderful Cedar Ridge series and I cannot love a series more.

In this book we follow another Kincaid sibling - Jacob. Jacob has been in the army overseas but after a fatal accident which killed one of his friends he comes home to Cedar Ridge-to see a family he hasn't talked too in years.

Sophie has just gotten a divorce from her cheating ex-husband. She decides to take the only thing he loves-his boat. Problem for her though, is that she get's constantly sea sick and decides to park it at a dock. Jacob's dock. They run into each other, as he's telling her she can't park there and they start to argue a lot, but their arguing turns into passion and before they know it, they are wrapped up in each other. Both of them feel like they don't have a home, that they don't want anything but a fling-but what if their home is with each other? Would they break the rule of not falling for each other? Or will they push each other away?

I love that we got to meet Jacob Kincaid. In the previous books they don't really talk much about him as he is a touchy subject for all the Kincaid siblings but now he's back, all the siblings are happy but angry but more happy to see him, and to see him alive.

Sophie, in her parents eyes, isn't as great as her sister. Her sister who is married, has children etc to them, they feel like she failed since her husband constantly cheated on her but she wants to make a name of her own. She is trying her hardest to start a business and trying not to fall in love but with Jacob coming into the picture, that part is going to be very hard-for both of them.

This was a wonderful 3rd book in the series and I am so happy we got to meet Jacob and see where he has been and getting introduced to Sophie, who is a fantastic character and I love how she deals with the women in her exes lives, that had me laughing out loud.

I cannot wait to read more in this series, as I hope there will be more. Especially since I want to read about the youngest Kincaid-Kenna, who is a hardass and she is just a fantastic character.

A book filled with laughter, drama, and a whole lot of sexyness. Jill Shalvis has done it again with another brilliant book.
