As a Hollywood actress, Emma has been burned by heart-throbs one too many times. But there's something about her co-star on her new TV show that is irresistible. Jake is gorgeous, smart and actually cares about more than just fame. Emma has sworn off on-set relationships though. They always end badly... don't they?
I give it - 5/5
My review - This was such an entertaining story! I loved it from start to finish.
It was really interesting how each chapter was from either Emma's POV or Jake's POV and it really gave more insight to the story and what they where feeling at certain points and what was going on in their lives.
I really liked reading about Jake's back story as it really made him more of a stronger character for me. I like how this story really goes with how fame is nowadays. Paparazzi following everyone, always there trying to make something a big deal when it's not and always manipulating the papers, showing something that never really happened.
I really liked Emma how she was a bit timid and scared at first of on-set relationships and then how she grew and was able to just tell it as it was. I also liked her relationship with her best friend because even though her best friend seemed fine with Emma's stardom she wasn't really and I think it really does show that not everyone can take one of their closest friends becoming famous and having to be just known as 'the friend'.
Amy has written such a fantastic story that I think any YA fan would really enjoy!
