It's been a year since the events of One Of Us Is Lying.
But nothing has settled for the residents of Bayview. Not now someone has started playing a sinister game of Truth or Dare.
Choose truth? You must reveal your darkest secret.
Choose dare? Well, that could be even more dangerous. Even deadly.
When the game takes an even darker turn, suddenly no one at Bayview High knows who to trust.
But they need to find out who is behind the game, before it's too late.

My review

I give it
- 4/5

My review - One of Us is Lying is one of my favourite books and when I found out Karen was doing a sequel I was jumping for joy and I was not left disappointed by this book. YA thrillers are some of my favourite books to read and this book had me gripped and just needing to find out more, more about the characters, the plot and preparing myself for the twists I knew was coming.

I really enjoyed that we got new characters to follow in this book with also pop ups from old characters from the first book. It was interesting to see what they where up to in this book and reading about these new characters and their lives.

This book follows the format of the first one. We follow a bunch of different characters and have different chapters from them which, I really enjoy as I think it gives more insight to each character and I just think it gives more depth to the story. This story follows Bronwyn's sister Maeve and a few friends and switches between their POV throughout the book. There is a secret that is about to be revealed.

Truth or Dare has never been more dangerous and these characters are not ready for the world-wind that is about to follow. This book is full of twists and turns you won't expect. Karen is fantastic at hiding these throughout the book and when you come across one it will make you gasp and it is just brilliant. The plot is a rollarcoaster and you need to grip on to figure out whose behind this game along with these students before it gets even more dangerous.

A brilliant sequel to one of the best books I've ever read. Meeting new characters, reading about old characters and trying to figure the mystery throughout the book. It is a story that will keep the reader on their toes and if you love mystery and books that are thrilling and filled with suspense this is the book for you!
