After finishing with her bad-news boyfriend, Reagan O'Neill is ready to leave her rebellious ways behind. Reagan's best friend and country superstar Lilah Montgomery is about to kick off her 24-city tour, and Lilah is nursing a broken heart of her own - so this is a perfect opportunity for a girls-only summer of break-up ballads and healing hearts.
But when Matt Finch joins the tour as its opening act, his boy-next-door charm proves difficult for Reagan to resist, despite her vow to live a drama-free existence ...
This summer, Reagan and Lilah will navigate the ups and downs of fame and friendship as they come to see that giving your heart to the right person is always a risk worth taking.

My review - Another wonderful book from Emery that is the perfect summer read. A book that lures you from the beginning and makes you feel you are on this road trip with these characters.
In this book we follow Regan. She has just had her heart and trust broken by her ex. She has had enough of bad boys and can't deal with them always breaking her trust. So, to get over this heartache she decides to go a road trip across the country with her best friend, who is also a famous country singer, Lilah. They are the best of friends and always enjoy spending time together. But, Lilah is also dealing with heartache and seems to be the topic of every magazine so, this trip is something they both need and joining them is Matt. He is also a singer and pretends to be lilah's new love interest to help her out but, with them travelling, Regan starts to get to know Matt a little bit more every day.
Regan has swore of guys but, she finds herself opening up to Matt. But, she is worried, can she go for a guy who is in the public eye? And because of her trust issues because of her ex, can she ever learn to trust him?
The girls have a lot going on and this is their chance to get away from it all. The chance to just escape and not deal with their problems for awhile, to just be away from it.
The friendship between Regan and Lilah is wonderful. They have their ups and downs but, they get on, they love each other, they have a great time with each and there is a few laugh out loud moments. Matt is a cutie. He is so wonderful and super sweet. He is very caring and understanding and takes his time with Regan as she starts to understand her feelings and starts to trust him more.
A book that is perfect for a summer afternoon read!
