My review

~I was sent a copy from the publisher - all opinions are my own~

I give it - 5/5

My review - What a wonderful start to a new series! This book has left me with a lot of feelings and I need the next book badly! It ended crazily and left me wanting the next book to see what happens with these wonderful characters.

Luna has been in the tower for all of her life. She has to be hidden away but, she wants to be able to travel the forest by herself, to leave the tower and see what the world is like outside. She knows there are dangerous hours when the dwellers come to life and kill. The forest around the tower is cursed and you have to be very careful when out there and Luna knows the forest, she has been taught well and one day when she sneaks out she finds some people and brings them back to the tower.

Then the tower is attacked and Luna has to leave. Perla and Sivo, who have taken care of her since she was a baby, make Luna go with Fowler, one of the people she found in the forest, as they will be able to get faraway from the tower and hopefully to safety. But, trying to get away comes with a few ups and downs and they need to do all they can to survive before Luna is found.

Luna is wanted and Fowler doesn't know why and when he finds out the truth he must do everything he can to protect her before she get's captured and killed. Can their love survive this all? And what could Fowler be possibly hiding?

I was not expecting some of the twist and turns in this book. Especially that ending. THAT ENDING WAS CRAZY and I cannot wait to see what happens to Luna and Fowler. I loved how the story built up the plot. It didn't rush it and it went at a really nice pace. I believe it was a great first book that gave us some answers but left enough questions for me to have already pre-order the second book. I'm so excited to see what happens in this wonderful fantasy series. I adore Luna. She takes no bull from anyone and is so strong and just amazing. Excited to see where this series takes her.
