In the world outside of the Haven Institute, Lyra and Caelum are finding it hard to be human-and Lyra, infected at Haven with a terrible disease, finds her symptoms are growing worse. When Caelum leaves without warning, Lyra follows him, seeking a pioneering organization in Philadelphia that might have a cure. But what they uncover there is a shocking connection to their past, even as their future seems in danger of collapsing.Though Gemma just wants to go back to her normal life after Haven, she soon learns that her powerful father has other plans for the replicas-unless she and her boyfriend Pete can stop him. But they soon learn that they aren't safe either. The Haven Institute wasn't destroyed after all, and now Gemma is the one behind the walls.Bestselling author Lauren Oliver brings the Replica duology to a shocking close in Ringer, but like both Gemma and Lyra, you won't be able to leave the world of Haven behind after you've turned the last page.

I give it - 4/5

My review - THE DUOLOGY IS OVER AND I AM SO SAD.

I adored Replica and Ringer. One of the best duologys I have read in a long time. It was so unique with one side being about Lyra and the other side being about Gemma. If you haven't picked up Replica yet I really suggest that you do. I love where Lauren Oliver went with this story. How it was all tied up nicely in book 2 but still had you wondering what happens after.

You can read these books anyway you'd like. I, personally, read one chapter from Gemma and then another chapter from Lyra. In the first book you get to learn so much about these characters and their lives. They are oh so different but, similar in a certain way. Gemma is a normal girl and Lyra is a patient at Haven. A secret place that is full of something, a little different. Gemma finds something out and she makes it her mission to find this place as Lyra is figuring a way to escape.

Ringer takes place after the epic ending Replica. I won't go into spoilers as, if you haven't started this duology yet it would ruin it for you. The story-line is so interesting and different and makes you question what would happen to you if that was you in their situations. I loved reading about these girls again and what was happening to them. Something big is going down and they both need to figure out why and how to stop it.

Both of their lives on the line and time is running out. Can they both stop it before it happens? Lyra and Gemma are about to go on another adventure but, this time something has changed. Can they save each other before it's too late?

Filled with some of my favourite characters from the first book. This sequel will keep you gripped from the very first page. It was fast-paced and full of action. Also friendship, drama and of course teenage romance. A brilliant ending to one of the best duologys I have read.
