"With the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select..."
It's been three years since quarterback Ares Kincaid's NFL dream came true, and he's living the high life. The days of cleaning up after his drunk of a father are long gone, and he has no intention of going back.
A car crash and DUI charge meant a lengthy stint in rehab for Arianna Petrelli, and her dream of being a professional artist slips further away when she's sacked from her position at a gallery. Her need for a job stronger even than her dislike of football, Ari goes to work for her father, the head coach of the New York Giants.
Ares hates alcoholics, which is fine with Ari because she thinks he's a brainless jock. Yet when Ares rescues Ari from a situation with her ex-boyfriend, an unlikely friendship begins - one that quickly becomes more.
But messing around with the coach's daughter can only lead to one thing...trouble.

My review - If you liked Ruin by Samantha you will love this one. In Ruin we followed Zeus Kincaid and in Rush we are following Ares Kincaid. His brother.

I really enjoy book series like this where we get to follow a different character in each book. Whether they a sibling, or friend, or team mate! When reading I sometimes wonder what happens to other characters and these books wrap up their story nicely!

Ares is a quarterback and has been for 3 years. He loves playing and how much better his life has been since getting that position. Then, we meet Arianna. She is the daughter's coach but, also been sober for 6 months. After a car crash, getting a DUI and being sent to rehab, Ari is ready to restart her life and that begins with working with her father at the New York Giants.

On first meet, you can feel the attraction but, when Ares finds out who Ari is he instantly hates her. Ares hates alcoholic and she is angry with him for judging her by something that happened a few months ago and something she is trying to get over. But, when Ares saves her from an awkward situation he starts to feel protective off her. He can't help but fall for her but, can he put his own past with alcoholics behind him? Or will it push them apart? Can Ari finally let go of the anger she has been holding at her father and move on happily for once with her life? Or will something sinister happen that might tear them apart?

I adore Ari. She had a really rough childhood that lead to her drinking and she never realised she had a problem until she crashed a car. She is very wary and obviously a call for a drink is still there but, she is strong, she has a great sponsor and now, she finally has someone she can be comfortable with who believes in her. She struggles in this book with alcohol and it is very raw and doesn't hold back on alcoholism in this book and shows how tough Ari life has been because off it.

Ares is a family man and doesn't agree with alcoholics. But, Ari turns his head. She makes him laugh and makes him light up. He has a hard time trusting her because of his past but, he is ready to put that behind him. Also, he's beautiful.

I adored this book. I love the Kincaid siblings and how much they care for each other. They have a great relationship and that is what Ari needs her in life with being an only sibling. I adore the relationship between Ares and Ari. They have their ups and down but, you can feel the connection between them and I just love them.

Another fantastic book from Samantha filled with family, romance, giving chances, moving on from your past and possibly finding your future.

I cannot wait to read more from Samantha and another possible Kincaid. (Missy ;))
