What do you do when you run into the man who broke your heart? Lily's been back in Cedar Ridge for less than ten minutes when she bumps into Aidan, the former love of her life. So much for sneaking back into town unnoticed. And thanks to frizzy hair and armfuls of junk food, she's turning his head for all the wrong reasons. No one knows why Lily is home after ten years, and she's determined to stay no longer than the summer. But Cedar Ridge and Aidan have other ideas. As they set about persuading Lily to give them a second chance, she finds herself falling under the spell of the Colorado mountains ...and the one man she could never forget. My review

I give it - 5/5

My review - I really believe that Jill can do no wrong when it comes to her wonderful books. Anyone who knows me knows that I ADORE Jill and her books. For some reason they always get me out of book slumps and then I can never stop until I've read all her books. What I also love about her books is that they can be read as standalone's, but I like to read them in order as characters from other books will pop up.

In this wonderful book we meet Lily and Aidan. Lily has came back to Cedar Ridge and in the few minutes she's back she runs into Aidan, Aidan the guy she use to love, but something happened in their past and she had to leave and she hasn't spoken to him since and seeing him when her hair is all frizzy, carrying all junk food doesn't help. Aidan tries to break down her walls, he's missed her and he wants her but Lily is holding back. Can Lily forgive herself for her past and let herself be loved by Aidan?

This story was a lot more than a romance story. Lily has a lot to deal with it. She's waiting to hear about a job and coming back to Cedar Ridge brings up old memories about her family but she get's back into climbing mountains, what she loved to do when she was younger and get's a job at her friends salon and falls back into a routine at Cedar Ridge, a routine that she starts to love. Plus, seeing the really cute Aidan again helps.

I really loved this story and thought it was a great introduction to Jill's Cedar Ridge series and I cannot wait to see what happens with other characters in this place.
