Simply Irresistible

Maddie Moore's whole life needs a makeover.

In one fell swoop, Maddie loses her boyfriend (her decision) and her job (so not her decision). But rather than drowning her sorrows in bags of potato chips, Maddie leaves L.A. to claim the inheritance left by her free-spirited mother - a ramshackle inn nestled in the little coastal town of Lucky Harbor, Washington.

Starting over won't be easy. Yet Maddie sees the potential for a new home and a new career - if only she can convince her two half-sisters to join her in the adventure. But convincing Tara and Chloe will be difficult because the inn needs a big makeover too.

The contractor Maddie hires is a tall, dark-haired hottie whose eyes - and mouth - are making it hard for her to remember that she's sworn off men. Even harder will be Maddie's struggles to overcome the past, though she's about to discover that there's no better place to call home than Lucky Harbor.

My review

I give it - 5/5

My review - After I read this story, I wanted my own Jax Cullen.

In this story we meet Maddie. She has came to Lucky Harbor to fix up the inn her mother owned and passed down to her and her two sisters when she died. When she gets to the inn it is a bit worse for worse, but with nearly being homeless and just dumped her boyfriend she wants to fix it up and get the place going again. She meets up with her two sisters Tara and Chloe, they really don't get along and always bicker with each other.

Maddie hires a contractor, a very hot contractor that she sometimes wonders why she sworn of men with him around.

What I liked about this story was, it wasn't just about Maddie and possibly finding love but also about her and her sisters. Coming together, working things out and becoming close.

This was such a cute story and I loved every second of it. I loved each of the characters. This story had me laughing a lot and also awwing. It was a lovely story.

After finishing it, I was craving the second book. I know there is about 12 books in this series but I like that it is about a different character in each book so I cannot wait to pick up the rest of the books in this wonderful story!
