What if you fall for the one guy you can't have? As the captain of a San Francisco Bay tour boat, Pru Harris can handle rough seas - the hard part is life on dry land. Especially when it comes to resisting her growing feelings for her new friend, Finn O'Riley. He's kind, he's gorgeous and he's Mr Right - for anybody but her. Pru has a particular reason for wanting Finn to find happiness and it's what she wishes for at the historic fountain that's supposed to grant her heart's desire. But things get tricky when it becomes clear that, when it comes to Pru, there's more than friendship on Finn's mind - because she's been keeping a secret that could change everything...

My review - Can Jill Shalvis do no wrong? If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of Jill and her books. She writes really captivating, sexy, drama-filled books and I love them all. This is the first book in a new series by Jill called Heartbreaker Bay.
In Sweet Little Lies we follow Pru and Finn. They both had something happen to them when they where younger and unknowing to Finn, they are both connected. Pru, after dealing with what happened to her and others when she was 19, has been trying to make these people's life better. By helping them anyway she can. Finn is one of the people she has been trying to help but, from what she's heard from others, he has changed a lot and isn't as out-going as others. Pru wants to help Finn but before she knows it, she starts to fall for him and he for her. They have many sweet moments together but Pru has to tell Finn what she's hiding and the more she falls in love with him the worse it is going to be when she tells him, will he up and leave?
I love Finn, just saying. I love him and Pru together and I just wanted to hug them both. I can see why Pru did what she did. She is still trying to get over what happened by helping others. She is slowly healing and thinks Finn hasn't healed at all. They have a great chemistry and they are just so wonderful together. They both need to deal with the consequences, can they get through what Pru has been hiding from him?
This was another fantastic read from Jill. As always, I was gripped from the beginning and I didn't put it down until I had finished. It was a fun filled book. Filled with the right amounts of drama, relationships, sexyness and laughs-also a dog named Thor! This book has really got me excited for the rest in the series to see what happens with other characters, and check in with Finn and Pru! The book also had a snipit from the next book The Trouble With Mistletoe and I cannot wait for this book to come out to see where this series takes us!
