I give it - 4/5
My review - I don't know what it is about winter that makes me want to read a good thriller. I was so excited to receive this book in the post (with some Smirnoff, thank you very much;))
I was so intrigued about this book. I wanted to know why they didn't want to go to her birthday and what happened to their friendship. I was instantly gripped from the beginning and couldn't put it down until I had finished it. I had to know what was going to happen and the writing, with all the twist and turns, the lies, just everything had me so addicted to this story.
It is Joanne's 40th birthday and she has invited Carys, Zoe and Andrea away for the weekend. When they get there, they don't know what they are in for. Each have their own secrets and is someone wanting revenge? What if it's someone else messing with these woman? We mainly hear from Carys in this book and someone secretive.
This book was INTENSE. I was not expecting anything. It was a fast paced thriller that had me gripped from the beginning. I can't recommend this book enough especially, if you love a good thriller that will have you guessing and questioning everything from the beginning.
Sue is a fantastic writer who really knows how to keep the reader on their toes.
