HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO TO TRUST WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN TRUST YOURSELF? I look at my hands. One of them says FLORA BE BRAVE. Flora has anterograde amnesia. She can't remember anything day-to-day: the joke her friend made, the instructions her parents gave her, how old she is. Then she kisses someone she shouldn't, and the next day she remembers it. It's the first time she's remembered anything since she was ten. But the boy is gone. She thinks he's moved to the Arctic. Will following him be the key to unlocking her memory? Who can she trust?

I give it - 4/5
My review - What a heartbreakingly beautiful story! I teared up at the end as I couldn't cope with this story. It was so beautiful and every should give it a read.
In this story we meet Flora. Flora can't make new memories after she had a tumor when she was 10 and she can only remember things from before that age and what ever she writes down on her hands. Her mother made her a notebook of her life for her to read for when she forgets what happened to her. One night at a party she kisses a boy, Drake. Drake is going away and wishes they could spend the night together but Flora's mother is very overprotective so she says no. She writes down that she kissed him as she doesn't want to forget it but when she wakes, she remembers everything from that night. She remembers their conversation and the kiss and now that has fueled her to find out what's going on with her parents and to possibly go after Drake to see if something is there, since the kiss between the made her remember.
Flora sets of on an adventure to find Drake and on the way she finds out some more interesting things. Flora finds out she can't trust her parents. They have been lying to her and with some help from her friend and brother she is able to piece together the truth.
I enjoyed following Flora on this adventure. Her little quirks are what make her, her. She constantly writes down every little thing so she can think about it the next day and important things on her hands.
Certain parts had me tearing up as I just wanted to give Flora a big hug and tell her everything would be okay. I would love to see what becomes of Flora after the book ended. Emily has written a fantastic book that will pull at your heartstrings. A story about a girl who doesn't forget and finding out who she can really trust and also, showing that she is brave.
