When freelance writer Nikole Paterson goes to a Dodgers game in LA with her actor boyfriend, the last thing she expects is a scoreboard proposal. Saying no isn't difficult - they've only been dating for five months, and he can't even spell her name correctly. The hard part is having to face a stadium full of disappointed fans...
At the game with his sister, Carlos Ibarra comes to Nik's rescue and rushes her away from a camera crew. He's even there for her when the video goes viral and Nik's social media goes crazy. Believing that neither of them are looking for anything serious, Nik embarks on an epic rebound with the handsome doctor, filled with food, fun, and fantastic sex. But when their glorified hookups start breaking the rules, will they be brave enough to admit what they're really feeling?

I give it - 4/5
My review - This is one of those books that has you thinking what would you do in this awkward situation? It was so fun, filled with a bit of drama and full of wonderful characters. It is a story that will make you laugh and smile and it is just over-all a good feel read.
What would you do if the guy you had been dating for a few months decides to propose? In front of thousands? And it is something you haven't discussed but, you know you don't want to get married to this guy. Well, this happens to our main character Nikole. Her boyfriend is an actor and he decides to propose to her in front of thousands at a dodger game and not only that, he spells her name wrong on the proposal. After saying no and being left at the game feeling humiliated she is rescued by Carlos and his sister and they manage to get her away before camera crews can start asking her questions and bombarding her and this starts of a beautiful friendship.
Nik and Carlos decide to be friends, they hang out a lot, they have a lot of fun but, both are not looking for something serious but, they can't stop the attraction that is growing between them. They can try and fight it as much as they want but, some times the pull is too strong to keep saying no. They are both on a difficult journey but, after dealing with heartache in the past can they put it all behind them and finally find happiness?
I really enjoyed this story. It was gripping, full of a diverse cast and just was so much fun and I can't recommend it enough. A very sweet heartwarming read.
