When Olivia awakes in a hospital bed following a near-fatal car accident, she can’t remember how she got there. She figures it’s because she was in a coma for a week, but as time goes on, she realizes she’s lost more than just the last week of her life—she’s lost all memory of events that happened years ago. Gone is any recollection of starting or graduating high school; the prom; or her steady boyfriend Matt. Trying to figure out who she is feels impossible when everyone keeps telling her who she was. As Liv tries to sort out her family and friends’ perceptions of her, the one person she hasn’t heard enough from is Walker, the guy who saved her the night her car was knocked off that bridge into the bay below. Walker is the hardened boy who’s been keeping his distance and the one person that has made Liv feel like her old self…whoever that is. With feelings growing for Walker, tensions rising with Matt, and secrets she can’t help but feel are being kept from her, Olivia must find her place in a life she doesn’t remember living.

I give it - 4/5
My review - Oh wow, this book was so beautiful yet, so heartbreaking.
Olivia wakes up in the hospital. She was in an accident and doesn't remember anything from the past few years. As she is trying to remember things, watching videos, reading, talking to her friends and family. She wants to know what happened that night. She doesn't remember her boyfriend Matt but, wants too. But, whose Walker? Walker is the guy who pulled Olivia out and saved her. When she learns some things it makes her question everything. She wants to remember but, nothing is jump starting her brain. She wants to know what went on and wants to talk to Walker. Find out what he knows.
He may know more about her than she thinks. She is about to find out some lies and truths about her life but, will she believe anyone? With no memory to back it up, will she believe what people tell her?
I really like that this book wasn't mainly centred on romance. It was about a young girl trying to get over something really traumatic and also, trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life after and trying to remember thing. Walker is a lovely character, you can tell he cares. She has a great relationship with her family and, even though they try to hide the truth from her to protect her they know she needs to know and to figure everything out herself without people pushing things on her and making her do things she did back then.
A brilliant book from Jessi. It isn't a long book but, just enough to fill you with so much emotions and just want to hug Olivia after reading this book.
