I love him so totally, completely, sometimes it threatens to overwhelm me.
Sometimes I think-
No. I won't write about that.
ALICIA
Alicia Berenson writes a diary as a release, an outlet - and to prove to her beloved husband that everything is fine. She can't bear the thought of worrying Gabriel, or causing him pain.
Until, late one evening, Alicia shoots Gabriel five times and then never speaks another word.
THEO
Forensic psychotherapist Theo Faber is convinced he can successfully treat Alicia, where all others have failed. Obsessed with investigating her crime, his discoveries suggest Alicia's silence goes far deeper than he first thought.
And if she speaks, would he want to hear the truth?

My review - This has to be one of the best books I have read this year and it isn't out till next year and you are all in for a treat so get pre-ordering this book that will be one of the best thrillers of 2019.

This book will get you thinking, it will take you on a journey, you will guess, you will be shocked and with the twists and how the story plays out you will just be so gripped by this book you won't want to put it down.

It is that kind of book when you get to find out what happened that I shouted OMG quite loudly as it was such an intense moment reading everything coming together.

I was gripped from the first page. You want to know more about Alicia, what happened, why she killed her husband and why she doesn't speak anymore. You will want to find out what happened just as much as Theo. Alicia keeps a diary, which we get some chapters from and it is great to read more about her and get an insight of her life, she writes about how much she loves her husband but, one night she shoots him 5 times and has never spoken since. She is known all over the world, people want to know what happened, why it happened and one of those is Theo. He is a psychotherapist and he gets a job at the place where Alicia has been sent too as he is intrigued by her and wants to see if he can get her to talk, find out what happened.

He is obsessed with wanting to find out what happened with Alicia and that is how I felt reading this story. You find out little bits about Alicia through her diary entries and also what she is like in the present through Theo's eyes. I felt I was with Theo as he digs deeper and deeper into her life and tries to get her to speak but, will she ever speak again and if she does, will they be ready to hear what she says?

I really enjoyed this book and it makes you feel a lot of emotions for all of the characters. It is a sad story that is filled with lies, betrayal, hurt it is a book that is filled with twists, shocking moments and suspense and it is just brilliant!

I adore a thriller with an ending you don't see coming. A book that will keep the reader on their toes and this book did this. I was just blown away by this book and I can't recommend it enough. It will take you by surprise and you won't see it coming.

You won't be able to stop reading once you've started this book.
