Five friends. Five cities. Two complicated love stories . . . The perfect read for fans of Jennifer E Smith and Sara Barnard.

Aubrey and Rae have been planning their European tour since the moment they met. It was meant to be the perfect way to spend their last summer together before university, but now it's not just the two of them . . .
There's Jonah, Aubrey's seemingly perfect boyfriend, and Gabe, who Aubrey may have accidentally kissed. Then there's Clara, the friend Rae is crushing on, hard, even though there's no hope because Clara is into guys, not girls. And on top of all that Aubrey and Rae's friendship appears to be falling apart. Things are more complicated at eighteen than they were at ten.
Set off on a romantic adventure that embraces warm summer nights, the thrill of first kisses and the bittersweet ache of saying goodbye to the past.

My review - The perfect book to read in this beautiful weather.

I love stories where a group of characters go travelling. They are always so fun and it makes me want to visit all of these places. It made me feel like I was on this trip with these characters. It was a story of travelling, life after school, friendship and so much more.

In this book we have 5 friends who are doing a bit of travelling before they head off to Uni/College. We have the story from Aubrey and Rae. Two best friends, they've known each other for years but after this adventure they are going to schools on different sides of the world. Aubrey likes to plan things out. Rae is loves taking photos, drawing and usually just goes with the flow.

On the trip they have Jonah, Aubrey's long time boyfriend, Gabe, Aubrey's best friend and Clara, another friend who Rae has a crush on.

They are off to five Cities, travelling on the train, sleeping in hostels and spending loads time together. Aubrey is scared nothing will be the same after this trip. She feels distant from Jonah and she's keeping a secret from him. There is a reason why she and Gabe aren't making eye contact and Rae is ready to change up her look and see where this trip takes her. Is she ready to let her feelings known? Or is she ready to leave everything behind after this trip and move on with her life?

I love this book. It is so much more than travelling and romance also, about female friendship. The highs and lows, the feeling of loosing your best friend when you both move to a different place for college. They love each other but some feelings are about to surface.

Can they sort out their lives before the end of the trip? Or, will this trip change their lives forever?

I adore this book. It was so fun, interesting to see about the different places, it makes me want to do some travelling myself. All the characters are different from each other, have been friends for years and this is something for them to remember before they move on with their lives.

The perfect book to read this summer!
